If it's good, japanese and coming out for PSP, XSEED games is laying hands on it, it seems. With the recent partnership with Nihon Falcom, and several other localised titles under their belt, these guys have turned me into a ranting fanboy.

They've got a whole bunch of other goodies, like Wild Arms, but what I'm slavering over is the Ys and Legend of Heroes series.

One's a hack and slash, the other's a fairly normal RPG.

I do like some titles from Xseed. They are a real hit and miss company though. I am a fan of the LoH series myself and a big fan of Wild Arms. Xseed however is notorious for bringing over a lot of generic Japanese titles over to the US. I can't complain though, the majority of their titles I have enjoyed very much.

Wild Arms 5 looked fantastic on the PS2. Really really....really found the main characters voice and the character itself annoying, it was still a fun game. What I am hoping from Wild Arms 6 is cel-shading to nail it down on the anime'ish look. Also a really down to earth and badass guy. Clive is still one of my favorite characters in the series. :D

The music and animation for WA5 were its gem. The return of the World map was also great.

Have you all just overlooked Samurai Showdown on their site, or are you all so deeply deprived of awesome that you don't care?

Haha, when I opened that site the first thing I saw was Ys. I played Ys: the Ark of Napishtim, and the thing I remembered most from that game is this one dungeon WHERE I COULD NOT MAKE THIS TINY NOTORIOUS JUMP TO GET TO THIS ONE ITEM. :I Getting that little item to me was harder than the whole dungeon. Tried for hours to get it and I didn't play it since hahaha. Good game, though!
Wild Arms is also good, me and Tsuji still own the first one :D

I miss games from Taito. I was psyched that raystorm got an HD port. I thought it was strange that SQUARE ENIX was the publisher

I didn't miss Samsho, I just wanted to talk about their PSP releases. But while we're on the subject, who do you play?

None. Won't have my Xbox 360 back until after Thanksgiving. Nor my PSP. :(

Never played Ys, however I thought the Lunar Silver Star remake they helped make for the PSP was pretty solid.

Atlus brought Demon's Souls, they will forever have a special place on my list.

I bought Ys Seven for the PSP though and the combat is incredibly smooth, but the bosses kind of leave you with hand cramps (loong fights).

Yes they do, and the last one is a triple fight. Make sure you have everyone geared up to some sort of standard, you use everyone.

Beat Oath in Felghana last night. Sooooo good. One of those endings that really leaves you feeling like you saved the world.

Man that last boss fight is kicking my ass lol. Just cant seem to get past the part when he sucks you in with that move and beats you down. What lv were you when you beat him?

I've put Oath in Felghana aside for now and am grinding through ZHP, another great PSP game for those of you who haven't tried it out.

47-50, I forget. Use the earth ring dash to fight the pull in, failing that, use it to shield from his swings. Use your double burst to regen HP whenever it caps out, don't worry about using it for damage.

Ah, never thought to use the earth ring dash lol. I mainly use the wind ring for mowing down hoards and hang time and others only to solve the puzzles.
Thanks for the tip Motoh.
