I made threads like these back on Cerberus forum way back in the day. Thought I'd give it a go this time around.
To start off, what kinda series do you guys like?
I tend to try and have a nice balance of the moe-moe crap, comedy and awesomeness each season.
Anime and stuffs Did someone just say "Weeaboo"?

I happen to like a lot of the older anime. Outlaw Star, Trigun, most of the older Gundam series, etc. I don't like a lot of the stuff that comes out now a days, just too over sexualized in my opinion. High School of the dead for example, had an awesome manga it had a bit more sexualization than I'd care for, but the subject matter was good. Then the anime rolled out and it's all about the panty shot.

While yes, the quality of series have decreased in the past decade, there are definitely a few gems with really good concepts/story. I am loving "The World God Only Knows," especially considering I like dating-sim games.
But yeah, a majority of the "good stuff" came from the 90s and very early 00s.

Exactly, I see a chick that knows her way around a gun and I'm gonna cozy right on up to her. And if I fuck up i hope she's not as good a shot as i am.

I've been meaning to check out Baccano. I hear it is similar to Durarara, which I loved.

I saw a net review and it looks fucking awesome. One of the few anime's that is hands down superior in English.

I'm hating this thread since it's tempting me to buy the Trigun DVD set...
