Looks mostly like yet another reskin of the standard Artifact/Relic armor. I thought they had claimed to try to make AF3 a little more original. D:

Wish they would have made more changes to it, seems war drk, nin (not including head) and drg got updated skins of past AF.
Hopefully the body can replace my Timarli dress, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being the best nuking body in the game. :(

AF3+2 hands will have 2% haste. The body will have no haste. It will have STR+5, INT+20, Enhances the effect of Absorb Spells.

Yeah it'll be solid but we got completely screwed on the most important stats in the game on feet and legs so it will take a lot to make us on par with the other jobs/sets.

hmmm how about :
Body : 99 DEF Haste 10% +20 STR/DEX/INT/AGI +50 Attack
Apocalypse : Enhances Catastrophe Aftermath Effect
Allows 10% Haste past haste cap
Set: Occasionally attack varies with HP
Drop from HNM called Chaos.

seems to me that would make up for the legs/feet

How about for Apoc at 99

Level 99 Damage 175
+20 STR/DEX/INT/AGI +50 Attack
Apocalypse : Enhances Catastrophe Aftermath Effect
Allows 10% Haste past haste cap
Occ. attacks 2-3 times
Relic proc % now at 20%

Your weapon is broken but i like the direction you are taking. I think if you adjusted relic proc to 15% it would be good.

Insurgency: Chance to deal critical damage. Would fix 75% of DRKs problem. LR effect lasting 2min would fix another 5%. The last 20% would come from stp/DA/TripA or something else to up our WS frequency.

Unfortunately it wouldn't, other classes not only have potent crit WSs but other factors such as massive DA,DW,stp,kick attacks. Those abilities don't only add DoT but also up their respective WS rate.

Kicks are either half as potent as DA or are only good for gaining TP because of kick boots. And without DW, NIN would be a soaking bag of shit. SAM is a joke in Abyssea (same as drk, sry :( ). I'd readily trade Kicks for some Hasso action on my MNK.
