Introducing the Mog Sack!

Posted Image
Humble in name but as equal to the task as its satchel counterpart, the mog sack will allow adventurers to stow and retrieve their personal belongings regardless of location. Sack capacity will correspond to a character's gobbiebag size, and may be expanded up to a maximum of 80 slots.

You can become the proud owner of your very own mog sack simply by purchasing it from the altruistic moogle posted at one of the locations listed below for the affordable price of 9,980 gil. Characters need not possess a mog satchel to qualify for mog sack ownership.

Southern San d'Oria (M-6)
Bastok Markets (H-7)
Windurst Woods (G-10)
Ru'Lude Gardens (I-9)

Introducing the Porter Moogle!

Ever showing concern for the storage plight of adventurers, the Mog House Management Union has decided to kick off its very own porter service. MHMU-certified Porter Moogles will soon be dispatched to the areas listed below to provide storage services for some of your most prized gear, such as those of the Artifact and Relic persuasions, as well as pieces acquired via Limbus and Salvage forays. But that's not where it ends! As Porter Moogles undergo constant and rigorous training, adventurers can expect the service to encompass an even greater range of gear in the future.

Porter Moogles will be happy to accept individual pieces and even upgraded items into their safekeeping. Adventurers wishing to store items may do so by purchasing corresponding storage slips from the moogle. Expected to cost approximately 1000 gil apiece, each slip can be reused to store and retrieve items an infinite number of times.

Northern San d'Oria (K-8)
Bastok Markets (I-9)
Port Windurst (L-6)
Lower Jeuno (I-6)
Tavnazian Safehold (F-8)
Aht Urhgan Whitegate (I-11)

Shit. You don't have to buy Heroes to get it...
What... What is this?
I thought I was playing a game manufactured by Square Enix...
I'm so confused...
This is too good for SE.

I'm scared.

This is what they should have added when they introduced artifact armor storage by allowing INDIVIDUAL pieces and upgraded pieces to be stored.

Hey, a couple years too late is not bad. Good track record SE, keep it up. I guess in a few more years we'll get another storage item or NPC at this rate.

Anyone notice how rambus hasn't poked his head in here?

My KI may be a bit rusty, but he was ALWAYS bitching about more space.

Best News Evar. I've been so pressed for space for the past 2 months that I've been forced to send things to myself just in order to make enough room to handle going out on a seal or gear run in Abyssea. I've been playing since the NA release so at this point I'm drowning in Rare/Ex gear.

This put a huge smile on my face; I can finally just play and not spend the first hour or so manipulating enough space to actually do something.

I'm in the same position as you in the game-- so much Rare/Ex gear. It's gotten to the point of being ridiculous. I keep all non-R/Ex gear on mules but it's the AF1+1, AF2+1 and soon to be the AF3+1/2 gears that are killing my space. It's been a long time coming and I'm finally glad we can store individual and upgraded pieces.

Now, how about increasing the amount of Magian weapons and AF3 gear we can store during our trials on the Moogles from 5 to maybe 80, eh SE?

You'll still spend ages manipulating gear, at least every time you change your job and have to collect 40 pieces of Rare/Ex equipment for whichever.

Do I have to be the first to say this? I guess so: We waited how long for this?

No one's begging you to come back, considering how much you bitch endlessly about FFXI and coming back.

I want them to make it so I can hit a macro and have all my gear swapped from backpack to satchel/sack and vice versa.

Should only have to wait another 3-4 years for that to happen.

I hope I'm not alone in saying that even though this is quite awesome... I'm still hoping they add another Gobbie bag quest or two :(
