Lets say i wanted to play around or have dnc sub for select things. I want to get to 100 % tp as fast as possible. how does the STP GKT compare to soboro sukehrio and the muli hit/dobule attack verents of Kokushitsunotachi?

I know I said i want 100% tp as fast as possible but i do want to know how the damage compares to each as well.

I think someone said the occ 2-3 magin where 50%/30/20? how does that compare to soboro?

So, you don't have meditate at the time, you didn't charge up your finishing moves for a reverse flourish, there's no low level monster to build tp on, you haven't picked up any TP wings, and you're not in abyssea with regain atmas, temp wings, or restrictions on ruby light kills.

As for tp gain on gk alone, OAT is always better. You're doubling your tp gain per round. STP+10 is 10% tp gain. So that's normalTP x1||x2||x3 versus normalTP x1.1

i figured that but how does the OAT 2 or AOT 2-3 compare to soboro sukehrio?

with other classes it was best to go with OaT 2 over the 2-3 because how the 2-3 behaves. also became not worth it because of the damage difference

i dont know the sobro's rate like how i was told oat 2-3 is 50/30/20

Rambus, I can't tell if you're being serious or if you're trolling, but either way, im gonna have to be honest with you:

1) Banter or anyone else really doesn't seem to care too much, as you haven't really asked for anything without asking for 3 things. If you're looking for a super weapon, you won't find one in 2~3.
2) A quick trip to wikitalk may actually give you some opinions about what other players have learned about the stp/weapon etc. Actually, simply reading the description on some weapons and paying attention to more than the on-screen damage may actually teach you something about stp/soboro.
3) Assuming you want damage numbers for each weapon, just take a look at the base dmg and your current setup. Its actually pretty easy to tell which weapon is superior to the next by taking a few moments to swap gear out while fighting something.

Only job that has any use for the 2-4 weapon is DNC, and even that is really debatable. As far as proc rate, again I don't give a fuck.

I seen a lot of emp/ 2-4 hit sword around and i cant think of anything else thats a good off hand for blu, there is no special crt hit damage or triple attack offhands like nin and thf can get. DNC has a cure dagger they may want to offhand.

CerGoltana i have a better idea on STP setups , i talked to someone and i found a calc that matched what they said when i asked about a few different delays so im using that as a bases what to get for the x hit i want.

WikiTalk, basically player opinions regarding certain stats and weapons. Some of them are spot on facts, others should be ignored.

Just keep in mind that generally, if there are roughly 20 comments on a page about a specific topic, about 15 of them are from gimps who still haven't learned how to play the game. But for what it's worth, just reading up on what other people have written about weapons/abils/stats can save you a bunch of time (and in some cases embarassment) in trying to figure shit out yourself. Remember the comments there are mostly opinion, but you can pretty much find out anything you need to know about a specific weapon or stat by taking a glance at some player testimonials.
