I know that many will make up an excuse for this, but we all know why they removed the world population counter......

600-1000 players on my server at any time. Out of those I say atleast 100 are afk, selling items. When the free trial is over I Think I would have seen 400-700

I am sorry for hating, but I just can't help it, this game brings it out of me :-(

Or. This is just going out on a limb here... they're planning to introduce a search feature so you can do it manually. Far fetched I know. It it could just POSSIBLY be in the works for December along with the search option for items. Call me crazy, but that might have something to do with it.

Another reason for some servers low pop could be that we are free to chose what servers we wanna start on. Just because one servers low on pop don't mean all are. Though that still don't explain why they would remove that function.

to me it shows they dont have faith in thier game from the population bashing and bad media.

I think they are scard that pop would still drop even after this big path and loose more.

i havent been on this site in a while but are you the guy who said that all the stuff in the open beta people where bitching about would be fixed on release date. like no ah no mh no d-box no chocos crappy chat search and ui functions lol. then i come back first thread i read and here you are stilll doing the same thing. long story short how many times do you have to be wrong about ffxiv before you let people point things out without you jumping in with passive agressive comments. my server is under a 1000 almost every time i chk and has been as low as 500.

he was a beta tester and sent stuff to SE, it is not his fault SE didnt put in the game what people talked about.

and the people to blame for it being so flawed is the playerbase. everyone wanted this released asap. instead of a polished product we get a steaming pile of horse shit. vari never said they would fix everything by release date.

Well like PS2 and PC on FFXI..... this is a rushed PC which will turn AWESOME for PS3 release...

Yes SE truely Fked up on PC.... left 80% of the game out and unfinished.... but they will fix it and yall will stop the hate when advanced type jobs come with questing and COP like story lines...

Have a little faith, you know your playing an unfinished product.... deal with it and get the advance on the PS3 people... make some friends and enjoy the community in a linkshell or ventrilo...
