It reduces enemy critical hit rate, but it has different wording on the spell, so it might do something more.

i was considering meriting enemy crit
i wasnt too positive about it, but if it stacks with that itd well be worth it. enmity isnt in my best interest due to my 'other' jobs after all

I assume you're talking about some healer class, but Enmity merits shouldn't really make much of a difference anymore.

Anyone upset that we didn't get any haste in hands or body?
I want that 7% haste belt.
edit: and the 3% DA and 3% TA ring would be nice!

it looks like, given our options, we can cap haste without haste hands these days, cant we?

Twilight belt and AF3 set would give 24%. I think the 1% blitz ring and isn't there a neck item? Also I am not sure if I have heard this correctly but haste cap is something like 25.5% so need 26% in gear to truly cap it?

NIN doesn't get Blitz ring, but it does get Shinobi ring, which is very easy to proc just by canceling cruor HP buff. Also, Haste cap is 25%, but it depends on the gear you need to get there. Haste works on a X/1024, where X is the sum of all of your haste items. Some things don't exactly give what is listed, but will be 1 or 2 off in either direction. Because of the silly math mechanics that SE uses, some items will be worth slightly more and some slightly less, but it's the reason why you need more than 25% haste to come to the real cap. Safe bet is to always gear for 26% if you want to be capped all the time.

so! I finally got migawari to proc. It was on bukhis- I was weakened and he was almost dead so I cast migawari and ran in just to see if I could get something to happen. he did blizzaga IV and I took 0 damage- both shadows & migawari wore from it.
So, I'm assuming this spell negates damage that would take away a certain % of your hp and afv3 would increase this.
Anyone else get it to proc at all or have any information?

So it's like Schizero? Not bad.

I think 24% plus a ton of DA and a bit of TA sprinkled in (if you can get the awesome belt and ring) is quite the TP build on NIN. That full set is worth it if you can get those other 2 items.

anyone get any more info in terms of how afv3 body affects migawari?
haven't been able to play in a bit~ hoping it boost dmg absorbed to 75% or 50% of dmg done to max hp instead of the full 100%. But, that might be too hopeful

According to wiki (which may be wrong) the +1 negates attacks that would do 85% of total HP, and +2 negate 75% of total HP.
Would be kind of difficult to pin down exactly unless you did a PVP setup with a PLD who had ridiculous HP to spirits within a nin shooting for various HP to 1 shot damage ratios.
The format would something like PLD maxing HP and 300% tp a nin who did his best to minimize or set his HP at various levels so that the SW would do near to exactly 85% and 75%
Would need to repeatedly to shoot for both just under and just over, to see if @ what percent the damage is either nullified or fully taken.

Wouldn't be hard. Taru NIN + Galka PLD in HP gear should be about enough.

Or 1000 Needles? Or any Black Magic, really, given it is completely consistent in how its damage is calculated?
Pardon me, but is this even worth casting? Especially in Abyssea, I cannot think of many situations in which one is likely to be hit for 2000+ damage that this or Scherzo will save you.

Only thing I can think of is WoE Wyverns when they're at high HP, but WoE lol. There are probably a chunk of other mobs capable too, but they're not too common.
