Well thank you captain obvious.. however gamespot doesn't specify anything of the above, does it..? Meaning all you have to do is listen to the music and rate it.. since the name of the award is actually "Best Original Music"..Rating the soundtrack the way you stated above would mean playing in depth all of the games that have been nominated and surely nobody will in less than a month.. as for me I have played only Nier in that list.. That's something the editors have probably done..Reader's choice doesn't matter much anyways.. it's a joke and known to be just a popularity contest won by fanboys..We'll see who wins the editor's choice.. I expect them to have at least some serious judgement..
Apparently it wasn't so obvious since that's what I've been saying since you started this inane thread. I'll just have to assume your feeble mind can't expand upon an idea beyond what you immediately see (or read). Here's an idea: let's give an award for Best Original Folly Work. It doesn't matter what's happening on screen. All that matters is that it sounds awesome.
And if it doesn't matter, why are you here? A little knowledge for you: Gamespot partners with Raptr, a video game trending site that tracks game play time and how many people play the game. Players of course, have to sign up and link their various IDs or gamertags. 500 people played the 360 version of Neir and just over 700 on the PS3. There are over 100,000 players signed up to Raptr. Regardless of fanboyism, how can you seriously expect a vast majority to vote for the damn game?
