To create a bit of a change of pace,

I'm back in XI and enjoying the game!

Im level 80 and have a ton of catching up to do. I roll with TeamShortBus on Leviathan (a casual event LS with mostly burned-out ex-endgamers) and i'm looking to finish off my subjobs so I can jump into all the Abyssea stuff with everyone else.

Question: do people still level pretty regularly in abyssea, similar to when it first came out?

Yea, at least on my server, people still level pretty regularly both visions/scar zones, and heroes (dominion xp, yum!). And yea, you will have a lot of catching up to do lol. I got back in around a week after heroes came out and still struggling to catch up to everything. Leveling up to 90 is gonna be easy, but catching up on all those Trials is a huge pain in the ass if happens to be one that has you killing a irregular mob on a set day and stuff.

Still tho, the Abby Zone bosses are fun fights, and Shinriyu is looking good lol (drop wise).

Nice to see people who actually enjoy the game vs another rant of how unfair, broken, and other whaa whaa blah blah FFXI is nowadays.

I know myself, and my group have a good time playing. As far as the xp parties go still see ppl going at it regularly on Ramuh.
