ATI Drivers for XI and XIV

I got FFXIV and was unable to run the game due to outdated graphic card drivers. I managed to update my drivers, but now FFXI runs very very choppy with a frame rate of about 5 FPS.

I am using a Radeon HD 5850 card, Windows 7, 64bit. Does anyone happen to know what driver I need to use to be able to run both games? Or, does anyone happen to know when I can find this information? POL main site has no information for any semi recent cards.
