Skillchain damage getting the most damage with your 5 charges

this is to show that ebulance can be used to skillchain with.

not showen is no emperaion gloves with ebullance , using my numbers that be 2149 times .50=1074 times 1.15 for staff gives 1235, the gloves add 10% or 1235 times 1.1 on top of that and thats why you see 1358.

now mbing a spell is 30% damage for first sc tehn 35% for next and so on, with 5 job ability you can do (SC) BIV> (SC)( 1/2 cast) > water V > (+20%) (1/2 cast) MB

or you can cast an extra spell to pad skillchain damage:

(SC) stone V> (SC)( 1/2 cast) > water V >(SC)( 1/2 cast)> B IV

with that you are adding about 65% damage of your water V then .75%ish total of your B IV

when you mb that is only +30 so it looks like you will get more damage out of padding your damage in the skillchain it slef.

in my exmaple I use 4 job ability and 2 spell casts that totaled 4993 damage, then free cast water V for 1573 then thunder IV 1273

now if i just ebullnace aero V water V stone V and thunder IV that would
1527+17832+1887+2149=7345
for my SC (with freecasting water V and thunder IV after that to total 4 spells and 4 job ability like what your doing above)
1486+2149+1358+1573+1273=7839

so its clear that using job abilites for SCing is more damage then just spaming spells with ebullance, the thing is what is the perfect sc or sc/mb? what will the perfect sc or sc/mb is with future spells? how does impact play? I do not know how or if staff bonuses exist with level 2scs but they can be used to pad level 1 sc damage. There is also pratcial agurments like are there peopel there to mess up my sc or mb? if there is you will most likey get the most damage out spaming spells, however you can still imprto MB/sc with others. each mob and situation is differenet. The main purpouse of this thread is to show people how much SC damage can be padded and to use this to bounce ideas for the perfect sc or sc/mb

In the long run, yes it is more damage then spamming Ebullience, and outside of abyssea that might be of some decent value, however, with Atmas like Hell's Gaurdian, Ultimate, Minikin, and Beyond, there's nothing in abyssea a decently geared BLM or SCH can't already 2 shot anyways lol. Usually I generate a massive amount of hate after just 1 nuke on NMs to the point where I have to wait alittle bit for the MNK to get some more enmity over me, so SCing on Major NMs really is out of the question. Though, typically, I've been neglecting my SCH recently for BLM, the occ. deals double damage nukes on my 5/5 set is really nice, and I like having things like Manawall and Enmity Douse to fall back on. All in all, I don't get a whole lot of use from the new stratagems, if the new buff duration one worked on Klimaform I'd probably care alittle more, but the Light arts penalty recast time for casting black magic would just counter that anyway.

Now as for Impact, I really never tested it out, i just got it as "look wut I got!" sort of thing, the casting time if you're not BLM is immensely long, it's somewhat close to casting AM 1. With Elemental Celerity i'd say it takes about 4-5 seconds to get off on BLM (casting at 30%), on SCH it takes almost twice as long, with the time needed to use Immenence added to it, so closing a skill chain with it probably won't work, opening a skill chain might allow us to do maybe darkness SC if we weren't able to do so already, I never put too much effort in looking up the various spell combos for skill chains.

yeah i know i can 2 shot normal mobs with just one ebillience there, i was more comment on stuff you cant do that to.

Plus i wanted to show how SC damage works and not to srug off that added damage it can be quite a lot.

I wanted to see if that spell could end a gravitation like nocohelix, what scs for spells is not really hard all they did was make it match the SC chart.

unless they gave impact different rules or if even works at all , kinda cerous, i have enough time to use 3 JA to make sc mb on aero V so who knows

finally have all the gear i wanted ( i think it is the best combo we can get , minus novio ( abyysea mab/ movlite). I got those pants you told me about as well pofo

the 3893 onscreen damage is detonation. I was able to use ebulllience for it.

no idea if i got wind weather bonus, i dont have that obi, i had twlight cape on.

I actally don't understand that SC damage, even after putting staff, weather, SCh hands bonus and cape, its still comming out lower in calculation then what is in that ss.

I think it works like this:

4871 (.50)> 2435 (SCH hands bonus1.10)>2678 (1.10 klimaform boots bonus)> 2945 > staff bonus (1.15)>3386 > (1.15, cape and weather)> 3893.

I didnt even think that the boots bonus would work on sc damage.
