So /WHM isn't even good for early levels? I'm just starting the game and planning on BST, just trying to figure out what SJ to level, cause /NIN is out of the questions for the moment. But I figured /WHM would work well from what I've read to at least around 60 ish.

/WHM is wholly acceptable at early levels soloing, I just feel that /DNC is superior. It's all in how yoh choose to play the job, when solo you should do whatever makes you comfortable, when grouping up, however, you need to focus much more on damage than utility in most cases. /DNC is also ideal for certain solo pursuits. I farm NW Apollyon once a week so that I have pocket money to go around. Average 45 ABCs at 8500-9k a piece. God bless you fools too lazy to get them yourself!

There's a large difference between what's "acceptable" and what's optimal. BST/WHM is clearly not optimal by any means.
