This is something heartfelt to me..
The little guy deserved it and I hope he learnt the lesson.. even though I think that if the bullied kid was against more of them or someone more corpulent he probably wouldn't have reacted that way.. I mean, the stature of the bully sure made its own role in that situation..
I used to get bullied alot back in school when I was younger, to the point I wanted to definitely drop school.. I got verbally attacked and teased for years.. I remember well, for example.. the bullies would break or steal my pens and pencils on purpose and act like it was an accident, throw my backpack in the trash outside school, and nobody would pick it up for me so I had to humiliate myself and retrieve it from the stinking garbage...
And they were not just girl bullies, there were even guys with them sometimes.. though they were like.. watching and laughing at me.. I was always waiting for someone to come and say "leave her alone" but no one ever did take my side..
So yeah, I know how it feels to endure the torture they put you under.. but it's been a while now anyways and I'm no longer that weak, I have a job that made me stronger, I can fight now and I wish I could back in the day.. Am I who I am today because of bullies..? Probably...
Just like Lucy says in Elfen Lied:
"When you're miserable, you need to make someone even more miserable than yourself." - It is very true..
