Yes it's shitty, but if you followed FF14, you will notice that there are doing WHAT ever it takes to fix it. Fired the old makers, hired the FF11 ones that made FF11 better, had surveys to determine what the people want. And it's in the process. hell its free to play it and why complain. you will get your money back in 3 months due to free play.

You actually lose money by playing that game, if, like me, you follow the age-old adage "Time is Money".

Unless of course you can find enjoyment for a good amount of time in that game, you don't get your money back. Maybe FFXI players who have their April fees waived can have that privilige, but certainly not anyone who built a super computer in hopes of the launch being anything but a catastrofic failure. I almost did. Glad I didn't.

Seriously, the game have been "improving", but for the amount I paid, this game is worth absolutely nothing. They're just trying to make amends for producing one of the shittiest hyped up games. Do they honestly think 1 year later after release they can actually make this game P2P again? By now most people who still play the game are burning out of it and will eventually get to a point where they would never pay a monthly fee for this game.

Wrong for more reasons that I can count.

FFXIV sucked at launch... we know this.

FFXIV will soon be really good (seriously)

I have never had any thoughts that FFXI was a horrible game after XX amount of years of being available, and I don't think FFXIV is gonna stay as bad as it is. So its not what everyone thought it would be. It will be soon though, and chances are, everyone who said they wouldn't touch the game will see how interesting and better the game got, purchase it, and not think twice about P2P fees.

FFXIV had a crap crew working on it at first, but you can't say that the game as of right now is worse than it was with the previous team. Not mainstream release worthy, but its getting there.
