I quit MMORPG's several years ago and video games altogether to get my life in order, now its normal and im making good money and life seems ok, and all of a sudden I find a woman I am in love with. It so happens she is a FF lover and has played all of them except 13 and 14... I told her how i played ffxi for 6 years and was absolutely addcted and she was intriqued. .. . .. . so... I wnated to get back into it, fresh with lvl 1 characters , this is dangerous i realize because of the abysea zones and lack of groups.. but i heard solo is good...has anyone tried to come back from scratch and had success? Imput appreciated ..im expecting certain responses.. already. GO!

Starting over is extremely easy but, getting your subjob items is quiet difficult now because no one ever wants to help. When I started over from scratch it only took a week to get 4 lvl 30's.

If you want to play, that's cool. Just don't do it with your girlfriend, ESPECIALLY one who hasn't played before.

Theres parties everywhere as soon as you reach level 15. Just page burn with an alliance in the areas where they do it. Theres always one there and always looking for members.
I got from level 1- 2 jobs level 35 & one job to level 70 in 6 days.
