What the hell did you all do to my brother? Ever since he fucking died in Jan 08, I always wanted to find out what happened. Funny thing is, every time I search information about him, I always find the information about his forum account here.

I never understood why he killed himself, and really I just want to know what was going on. Looking at his LJ's and various posts, he invested a lot in FFXI. I really don't understand how this was involved in his death, along with the other real life issues he had.


All I want to know is, what the hell did you guys do to bring him into that irreversible state.

He was probably a butt-hurt try-hard who was terrible at FFXI and sunk into a deep depression the day he realized he'd never get a pair of Byakko's Haidate.

Also, the title you have chosen doesn't seem very fitting for asking an online community about the suicide of your brother.

I looked up some of the stuff your brother had on here... Maybe he had a crush on someone that was ingame. I dunno some people take this shit too seriously. It's a game I don't even really care what people say online unless I see them in person it doesn't bother me, because I'm already badass and I know it.

Sure, the fact that I had my own personal trouble in life where I wasn't able to spend much time with him, and that he was working hard every day paying his own damn bills as a supervisor in UPS? Even if I wasn't able to see him, he still cared. I still remember getting my first GBA despite my parents' protests, and also influencing my gaming tastes (particularly Disgaea). But sure, what ever floats your ego boat.

Right... Badass because the internetz is srs bzns. Well, sometimes, it is, sometimes it isn't. Obviously where both my brother and I had some social issues, I guess we do take it seriously when both of us take online strangers as "friends."



Now aside from those moronic troll remarks and an idiotic antagonizing moderator who decided to label this thread as spam, let me clear some info on "why" this forum was involved.

1. Google search of one alias shows his involvment with this forum, and his activity a month before he died. Sounds funny huh?

2. His LiveJournal account - Describes some of his ramblings but particularly with FFXI as an "addiction" that he can't stop coming back to. And as funny as it to say.. his main involvement with FFXI leads to this forum ONCE more... and especially one of the users calling my brother "Alouette" in this forum, so obviously my brother did have some kind of friendship connection with this forum in general.



Based on my brother's myspace that I also somehow found recently, http://www.myspace.com/rcsmith82, the only thing he wanted was simply acceptance of who he was. Unfortunately, because it had to take his death for me to be traumatized since 2008, I still can't forgive myself for not being able to "prevent' his death. I honestly still blame myself to this day and am still in denial. Still, as much as I seem biased with my brother's standpoint, I can't help but feel you guys are involved.

Also, if anyone do perceive me as hostile, then by all means I apologize, but something related to my brother I cannot ignore nor see what is the involvement of your actions. All I want is the simple truth of what was going on with him.

I don't know why one wouldn't think your hostile by creating a topic about the death of you brother, putting it in Flame Wars, and naming it "You pieces of shit".

Looking over his posts they seem quite average, asking job related topics, random comments, tech help, until you get to some Excellence LS dram in the Hades section.
Maybe see if you can track down anyone around from that era that might have know him, or contact someone in Excellence.

You said he passed in Jan 08, his account was last active at Nov 07 2007 02:19 AM but, all posts that I saw were dated 05.
I'm not sure why you're blaming this site when he wasn't active three years prior to his death.
