greetings my fiends, i am about to return to the world of FFXI after getting sick and tried of worthless FFXIV and back&forth of WoW.

so i was wondering, does this server ballista anything at all? does hackery of remora still play? are there many low level parities around? can i expect some help from generous people for kazaam keys and limit break and sub quest?

Pretty much no to everything, but you won't need kazham keys because you can solo to 30 fairly fast now and limit breaks / subs were nerfed.

that doesnt sound good. another question, my old account is US, I am EU, and is missing WOTG an latest addons. So I hav now bought ffxicollection(not sure if it was eu or US, diddnt even say) on steem, can I link my old content id to this pack so i dont hav to redo everything? tough redoing all missions and such sound very interesting and nostalgic, but maybe it will just be a hassel.

several hours later; unable to register playonline because of some error. apparently it has been like this for nearly a month. guess se havent changed anything.

You will be able to link that to your account as soon as the registration servers are back up. Last I heard they were planning for mid-august. Also, I hope you bought the ffxi pack with the abyssea add-ons, otherwise you're going to wind up spending another $15ish to get those because they're pretty much mandatory nowadays.

i also bought a new ffxi copy with all addons inc abbysea but i cant find anywhere how to link it to my old account guess im screwed and need to buy all the little expansions again for my other account ; ;

it would seem like i have forgotten my old POL-password. I contachegd web chab support and he hung up on me. come on now, i knew se were terrible and worthless. he said my birth date was incorrect and some other information and i didnt hav time to explain or ask for more information before he left the chat. too bad i already forgot this guy´s name.

edit: tried again, after waiting about 10 minutes I got terrible agent kyle who dusted me without saying anything and re-queing me at the back fo the queue.

edit2: finally got my password back, but now i encounter UCS-5000(incorrect or incomplete information) when going to confirm membership right after logging in.. By the way, if i reactive my content ID now, will i be billed "twice"? now when I reactive and at the beginning of next month? i am pretty sure it was something stupid like that.

Good lord, trying to register a new account is so complicated with this company... Make SE account, register POL account, transfer some crap, register expansion codes, buy a content ID, create a handle, link content ID to handle... And now you can finally download the 24 hour long update... Hopefully I can play after that? lol... what a joke. And I even forgot to mention just getting through the payment method part... Good grief. I imagine it's still almost impossible to start fresh in this game right? Oh well, I'm sick of WoW and FFXIV sucks.

No, they removed the level cap from everything in CoP iirc, but they didn't increase the level of the mobs.
