Been having a problem for a long time with some textures in FFXI. I want to give an example with the Jeweled Egg. When viewing the Jeweled Egg, its supposed to look like this:

But it ends up looking like this:





I play FFXI on Windows XP w/ SP3 using Boot Camp on an Intel Macbook that is about 3 years old. It uses Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family for the graphics card.

It's not anything dire but I really miss the way my Jeweled Egg used to have that pristine sparkle that was beyond compare. Now it just looks like some spinning opaque egg with a glowing blob in the center. This also happens to the Carbuncle's Ruby in cutscenes, and some other things like the river in Sarutabaruta.
