This morning, Square-Enix Japan unveiled a twisted-crasy promotion plan around FFXI:

A game where players are encouraged to crop and put Shoei (japanese famous actor) in Vana backgrounds.

Needless to say, many japanese players were lost with this unusual and unexpected "marketing plan"
