just bought the game... i've been wanting to try this game for a while now. i'm updating as I speak, i'm just wondering if anyone out there is willing to help me out with the game. I hear this game isn't exactly friendly to newcomers, just thought i'd see if anyone wanted a new friend so to speak. I still haven't chosen a server to play on or anything. So if anyone is interested i'll hop on their server and what not. ok thank you.

You know you'd be surprise how friendly this game can be. If you jump on and say "Hey I'm new to this game is their anyway I could get a linkshell." A lot people will give you offers defiantly if you make it to Jeuno. The game is really fun, they need to even it out a bit now with the level cap being implemented, but I don't see FFXI dying anytime soon. So enjoy yourself, good luck and don't play too much.

Hey everyone. It's good to see some people still playing FFXI. And welcome to the brand new player. My wife and I played several years ago and just reactivated our accounts today and were not sure if anyone still played the game. We are on Ragnarok but wondering if any servers have a higher US population so we might see some more people online during the hours we play. We don't mind to move servers if there is one out there that's better - we are around level 30-40. My name on Ragnarok is Billyo and hers is Tiffyo. Look us up.
