COMPETITION IS OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE UK, GERMANY, FRANCE AND ITALY WHO ARE AT LEAST 13 YEARS OF AGE ON THE DATE OF ENTRY. PROOF OF AGE AND/OR RESIDENCY MAY BE REQUIRED. WHERE YOU UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO PROVIDE THE NAME AND VALID EMAIL ADDRESS OF YOUR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN. WE MAY SEND AN E-MAIL TO YOUR PARENT OR GUARDIAN REQUESTING CONFIRMATION THAT THEY CONSENT TO YOUR ENTRY AND, IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE SUCH CONFIRMATION WE MAY CHOOSE NOT TO INCLUDE YOUR ENTRY IN THE CONTEST. SQUARE ENIX WILL NOT AWARD PRIZES TO ENTRANTS WHO RESIDE OUTSIDE OF THE UK, GERMANY, FRANCE OR ITALY. If any winner is not eligible to receive a prize the prize will be awarded to the next most popular entry. You must possess an official FFXI Forum Account to submit entry. (This requires entrants to have an active FFXI account and Square Enix account) Directors, officers, and employees of Square Enix and any of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, agents, professional advisors, advertising/promotional agencies and/or immediate family members of each are not eligible to enter. A. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS
Maximum of 1 entry (image with caption) per contestant All Entrants must agree to these official rules in order to submit and receive any prize.
B. COMPETITION PERIOD
The Competition period is Friday, December 9, 2011 11:00 GMT to Wednesday, January 4, 2012 11:00 GMT. The entry period ends on Friday, 23 December 2011 11:00 GMT. All entries must be received by the Closing Date to be eligible to win a prize. Square Enix will, in its sole discretion, determine the entry time, should any discrepancies of time occur.
C. PRIZES
Eligible entrants will be eligible to win Tarutaru Figurines + FINAL FANTASY XI Original Soundtrack -PLUS- as the grand prize, FINAL FANTASY XI Original Soundtrack -PLUS- as the second prize and FINAL FANTASY Series Mascot Straps Chocobo, Moogle and Tonberry as the third prize. Winners will receive one of these three models, subject to availability. Prizes cannot be exchanged.Actual model, color, accessories, and features of the gaming-related merchandise awarded as prizes shall be selected by Square Enix in its sole discretion and may vary from photos or images shown in the Contest materials and advertising including the Square Enix web site.
Winner(s) will be announced on the official FINAL FANTASY XI Forum and contacted via email on January 10th 2012. Prizes will be awarded after the winner(s) has been announced. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted, except that Square Enix reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any prize listed above. All prizes are awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
As a condition of being awarded any prize, except where prohibited by law, winner(s) may be required to provide written confirmation of their consent to the use of their name, location, likeness, and/or prize information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation. The use of an entry, commentary regarding an entry, timing and location of any announcement regarding the Competition or any entry, and all other matters concerning the Competition will be decided upon by Square Enix in its sole discretion. E. MISCELLANEOUS
The Competition and these Competition Rules will be governed, construed, and interpreted under the laws of England and Wales. Entrants agree to be bound by these Competition Rules and by the decisions of Square Enix, which are final and binding in all respects. Square Enix reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Competition or any Entrant’s participation in the Competition should viruses, bugs, unauthorised human intervention, or other causes beyond Square Enix’s control affect the administration, security, or proper running of the Competition or Square Enix otherwise becomes, as determined in its sole discretion, incapable of running the Competition as planned. Entrants who violate these Competition Rules, tamper with the operation of the Competition, or engage in any conduct that is detrimental to Square Enix, the Competition, or any other Entrant, in each case as determined in Square Enix’s sole discretion, are subject to disqualification from entry into the Competition.
F. FORCE MAJEURE
Square Enix reserves the right to change, suspend, or cancel the competition if, in Square Enix’s sole discretion, intervening circumstances warrant such change, suspension, or cancellation. Intervening circumstances include, but are not limited to, strikes, labour disputes, war, insurrections, revolutions, terrorism, riots or other civil disturbances, earthquakes, fires, floods, or other natural disasters, governmental restrictions, embargoes or other exercises of governmental authority, unavailability of supplies, components, or material, or any other cause beyond Square Enix’s control.

Square Enix, all participating sponsors, and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, employees and agencies will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled, or distorted or damaged transmissions of entries; (

telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer or communications related malfunctions or failures; © any Competition disruptions caused by events beyond the control of Square Enix or other participating sponsors; or (d) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Competition.
