Sorry if there is anything posted about this elsewhere but I guess I am just awful at navigating a simple search function -__-

but I was wondering if anyone knows how to fully get FFXI running on a Mac through Wine?

I found some guides but have encountered a few issues when it comes to installing PlayOnline and I was wondering if anyone could help or point me in the direction to a guide that will better help me install the game, I really wanna come back and play!

In short, need a Intel Mac then use either Bootcamp or some virtualisation app.

yeah The first guide you posted is the one that I tried using but for some reason playonline's setup seems to not function.. I am going to try it again sometime this week. I suppose I might just have to break down and buy boot camp and windows :C but idk if I want to spend all that money
