Hi guys, I quit a few years ago and now I am coming back with a brand new character. I used to be a pure DD and participated in a lot of end game stuff, but this time I want to come back and play the job that I have always felt mysterious about: bst! So is this still a solo grind job and do I still need all the other subs (whm, nin, dnc)? Anything else I would need to know?

Don't need /whm anymore really -
/nin for older content like sky is just as good, or /dnc if you plan to melee along side your pet.

while not a necessity, the big part about bst is making PDT and Eva axes for your pets, and with that the Anwig Salade is also a keeper for the 10 PDT on that.

BST is no longer a solo grind job, though the option is there, why would you? while inside abyssea (and voidwatch) your pet gains atma effects, making your pet your primary mode of attack.
