Hey everyone!

I used to play a Galka named Donjarfi. Had a bunch of Lv75 jobs back in the day when 75 was cap. I quit the game back in 2007 or 2008 and am looking to come back to the game. What server would be a good one to come back to and whats the best job to start at now as a Lv1? Can anyone also explain all the new stuff they added? With the level cap, did they add new gear? I've looked at screenshots and still see Lv 99's with old relics (apoc, amano, etc.), is this still the standard?

Donjarfi. Wow, not seen that name since we were the first on Leviathan to unlock the Corsair job. I can answer some questions. They did add new gear. Many gears are upgradable but there is a new AF3 set which is also upgradable up to a +2 version. Relics are upgradable too. There really are no exp parties anymore. Since exp was doubled, people solo up to 30 then enter Abyssea and leach exp.

What exactly is Abyssea? EXP was doubled?!?!

Yes, exp was doubled. You'll find that out quickly when leveling a new job. It's hard to explain Abyssea. You'd have to search for it, there is a lot of information about it. It's a new group of areas tailored for high level people but you can join as an alliance. Exp flows fast. Average is like 100k/hour
