I

heard somewhere that Pals just need to survive a large amount of damage.

I assume

Samurais would have to kill Maat (like Darks and Dragoons), or maybe do a certain amount of

renkeis/renkei damage (kinda like Lvl 71 WS).

Since Maat himself is a bard, it might

be possible for him to be defeated by Melee and DOT songs. Or maybe they give you both a

"Pet" party member and you keep buffing it and healing yourself?

probably do foe requiem like crazy on him, use a elemental dagger and do a threnody of that

element on him, whilst doing the +acc and +att songs on yourself, with the hp regen song on

yourself halfway thru the battle or osmething..

Bard vs

Maat would be interseting.

I heard other things like for DRK you dont have to kill

him, just deal like 4000 damage to him.

Im curious what it is for PLD, probably have

to block attacks and take a certain amount of damage.

I heard that there are certain

credentials you have to meet when fighting him to win the battle.
Like RDM must use

several WS, cure, use offensive magic.

And alot of melee start the battle with an

opo-opo necklace and sleep themselves till they have 300% TP and start the battle with a WS

.

I'm 5 levels from fighting him and i'll record my battle against him ^^

Well

having a set amount of dmg to do is essentially the same as "killing" him, obviously he

isnt gonna die, but its the same as him having 4k HP
