I'm a level 20 Ranger and LOVING it. I have a few questions that you guys/gals might be able to answer for me.

I notice that against any IT mobs, I sometimes miss about 50 - 80% of then other times 75%-80% of the time. I have the Royal something Tunic that gives me +1 AGI, the beestinger, +1 AGI, 2xBone Rings +1 (Ranged Accuracy +3), Rangers Necklace and Hunters bow.

I know I've read that Elves are not that good at ranged accuracy, but I mean I would have though I made it up by now with all the addons(AGI, ranged accuracy). Do rangers, no matter what breed of human they are (elven, mithra, galka, etc) notice the ranged accuracy difference when they hit 30?

Using beetle arrows might help +5 rnged acc. every little bit counts.

They do less damage than the Iron arrows. I want to do the most damage I can. But I guess I gotta give and take at the lower levels eh? Did you notice a big difference in your accuracy after you equiped the Rangers dagger and got the level 30 rnged accuracy up?

uhh. at low levels, any race ranger will have horrible ranged accuracy. my friend who is elvaan rng/nin told me at lv 28 with 2 archer daggers this problem mostly disappeared. also, get the +1 versions of those rings with -accuracy +ranged accuracy. also +1 bows give ranged attack and accuracy and are worthwhile since most of them are the best for a good many levels. this job is all about equipment

Perfectly normal. Don't worry about it. I noticed my accuracy started to get better in Qufim fighting worms, crabs and pugils there. Then once you hit kazham, you'll hit 28 and be able to use the archer's knife. From then on, you should be hitting about 75% of the time. About 90% with sharpshot.

Just keep leveling, its totally normal.

Oh, and always use the +5 accuracy arrows. They're really abundant, the damage is only a few points lower than the stronger arrows, but you'll see almost no difference in damage.

Well this morning I woke up and found all my Gold Ore sold and I went right out to buy the Power bow +1. I have 2 bone rings +1 and am going to camp leaping lizzy soon. I've camped leeping lizzy and fought her four times. Nadda. Wide scan does help btw. The only thing you have to do is make sure you hide your character information because if thiefs find out you're a ranger they'll follow you! =D And you can imagine that they'll follow using flee.... I also timed the spawn times if anyone is interested. I know the spawn times are random as of the last patch or something. This is respectivly to the lizzy's I fought.

1st - 2nd: 45 Minutes
2nd - 3rd: 18 Minutes
3rd - 4th: 15 Minutes

And damnit I wish I could use the archer's knife now

hey im about to get to lvl 30 (havent changed profile) and i wanted to know if galka are good at RNG?? arent they like middle of the road much like humes??

yea, but some what lower aggility. nuthing that some good equipment cant fix though, so galka are decent rangers.



on cerberus server, if u do a /sea all ranger 30-50 u will see that there mostly elvaan lol, and have ninja sub. im lv 45 now and i hope at lv 50 the accuracy bonus will help alot more. will it???

the ideal set up for ranger i believe is-

drone earing x2
rannged acuracy (horn,bettle,bone,ect) +1 x2
+1 long bow or gun at later lvs.
leaping boots( i use my RSE boots cause its still +3 aggility but no dex, dex is useless anyways)
emperiors hairpin- yes it is asking alot but u are a ranger and u knew about the expensive part. i think all rangers should camp a nm once and a while.
i have no idea about gloves. i use scentless armlets lol but if u want to spend 200k on mages cuffs(+2 agility) the go ahead.
nomad mantle-traverlers mantle-YES
a simple belt will do if u want one. u use sword belt-attack +12 i think or is it 10???
its obvious that u use an archers knife for main weapon.till then use waht u want.
arrows- fang arrows-bettle arrows- horn arrows-scorpian arrows- demon arrows- i used iron arrows til horn arrows cause i was poor but useing thiese arrrows will help u out alot.
oh btw, try to get scale unless somthing adds aggility. useing a robe will not let u use emperiors hairpin :)hehe

this is just an opinion , it works for me, if some of the items are unavaliable then get somthing that raises aggility or ranged accuracy.
