Now that I've decided for the most part what my main job will be, I need to figure out when and where to hunt so I know where to make some money when I need new equipement or just lvls in my craft.

So what lvls did you start hunting/gathering/mining for resources for you craft (currently I do almost all of them except cooking and alchemy). ? And where?

For example, in my 20's I went to the konschat highlands and hunted sheep for leather.

Where can you farm cotton ? - saw a post where someone said they knew where to go.

Whats a good place to farm at what lvls ? that good for crafting.

Cotton = pygmais in Tahrongi (can also steal off mandras in saruta, but only steal, not dropped).

It's cheaper though to just farm whatever will make you the most money then buy...

What's a good stable farming area and at what lvl ?

Outside of Silk thread from crawlers at the early levels ?

You could also go to giddeus. Kill lots of yags for their necklaces (sell on ah or turn into nanaa mingo or convert to grass stuff to craft with). Plus bees for chips (sell by stack or turn into beeswax to up alchemy then sell) and honey (sandoria quest or ah)

Bees are great, but it's hard to find a good concentration of them outside of the one area (outside Dangruf Wadi) that I know of.

Are there other areas with some good bee populations at different lvls ?

The giddeus thing is good, but it's a bit better to run in there at level 25 or higher so you can also get a chance at the Hunter's Longbow and other good drops.

I guess I need something pre-level 30 but post level 10.
