I was wondering, being a lvl40pld, how hard is it to do the first 3 AF quests? (sword,

boots, and armor i think?) I hear Polevik isn't too hard. Also, should I just wait to lvl60

so i can wear the armor and then start the AF quests? or..? I was hoping someone who has

complete most of the quests could give me some advice. Thanks.

AF1

can be done at level 40 (equipable at level 42?)
AF2-AF6 are NM's and Coffer Key hunts

and are activated at level 50+, the pieces will go through the following levels of

equipability. 52, 53, 56, 58, 60.

AF1 -

activated at lvl40; talk to Ailbecht (sp?) in North San'Doria.

AF2-6 are all lvl50 requirement before you can activate any of them (AF1

must be completed as a prerequisite to activating the others).

The Honor Sword is the

lowest lvl requirement you'll find out of all the PLD AF pieces (and the quickest to retire

too - because at lvl50 you'll be wanting the Tactical Magician's Espandon). The others

range from lvl52-60, with the armor piece being the last you can equip at 60.

I'm PLD 54 and I'm still using the Honor

Sword. Since I'm not really a damage dealer i prefer the +2VIT +2MND boosts from the Sword

than the damage from Tactical Magician's Espandon. If i want to do damage i use a Great

Sword. ^^
