i'll jes like to say carnifex. My friend bid on TM Hooks thinking it was cross counters... 3,955,000 gil...well he was about to quit until carnifex gave him back the money he gave back that much money.

Wow, its been a long time since I looked at this forum. Some of you people need to not generalize a LS and say you hate the entire LS. Well I know plenty of people I do like on this server. There are a ton of people who have helped me in this game and its a more helpful server than you think. I have been fortunate to be in TheEchelon, ImmortalsRequiem, Hokuten and CobraKaiDojo and several other LSs and all them have had plenty of good people and friends in each LS. Then there are people I do not know, which is alot of people actually. I can't say whether I think they suck or not. The people that I don't like are those who steal from people (scam on trades, take items like borrowing and not giving back, rip people off on AH who make mistakes), people who MPK on purpose, gillsellers in general (alot of them MPK, CFH and bot on NMs/HNMs lol), NM/HNM monopolizers (heh gilsellers and some other groups of people who bot and MPK), and people who have wronged me or any of my friends in any way of course.

I'd like to note that my opinion of Best/Worst doesn't only pertain to a person's skill level with their respective jobs, but also the ways in which they've made my time on Ifrit as enjoyable/hellish as I hope I've made theirs. Anywho, here goes...
Best: (In no particular order)
Sarelk - killer RNG and all around nice guy who I've known since he was an aspiring MNK so long ago. I can probably attribute at least two of my AF pieces to his skill and bravery, despite how troublesome or dangerous the quests seemed.
Viscica - Probably one of the first true in-game friends I'd ever made in FFXI, and has remained so through all this time, even after I'd quit and returned. Also helped me with at least two of my AF pieces. (key for one, coffer pop for another)
Elander and Khalim - My "brothas from a different motha" representing Miami Beach, who are always there for me from waaaay back in the days of RidersofRohan. Whether it's a chat about life and whatever, or some help with some kind of quest/mission, these are my boys and they're always there for me. (Even if I did pass both your asses in levels now. LOL j/k) When there's an IT or two about to pounce, I don't question their skills on the battlefield (as WAR and MNK respectively) for a single moment either.
Infaurrria - My babygrrl and soon-to-be in-game wife. My inspiration and encouragement to keep on keepin' on, even when I'm about ready to throw this goddamn game out the window. Thanks for teaching me that levels are just numbers on a screen, and that the skill a person has for their respective job(s) isn't entirely measured by it. I wouldn't have gotten here to 60 without you, babe. Also, one of the best up and coming RDMs on Ifrit server, no lie.
Ziric and Xangelica - Mine and Ria's favorite couple to hang with, who welcomed us into their tight-knit LS of close friends after a night of questing and chatting. Also, were I to ever accept an invitation to a static party, it would need to include these two: Z, one of the most amazing RDM's I've ever seen in action, although sometimes I think you forget you're not a Paladin, bro. (You DON'T need to die to save everyone else!! ^^) Xan, I can safely say, one of the best WHMs out there in both skill at her job AND a genuinely kind and caring personality to match.
Hiroro - my JP taru MNK buddy, who has since passed me in levels. The epitome of someone who takes a non-preferred race for a job and performs flawlessly. Though we speak two different languages, our enthusiasm is the same. The very first time he /tell'd me "ALEX {Monk} {Impossible to Gauge}", I felt the aura of my own true potential as a Monk blossom. Though I may never have the words to convey my gratitude fully, I'm quite sure that he understands.
Tommythemighty - Ria's brother, but an excellent PLD who takes his job seriously, although he does get a bit mouthy about things sometimes, even toward high level ppl. Possibly the first PLD I'd ever seen eat a death from a small army of mobs, standing perfectly still after running away from zone, after watching each and every person in his party safely retreat. (i.e. Most PLDs I've seen are pushing the mages out of the way to zone first, or running around mindlessly and indirectly MPK'ing parties nearby with the mob(s) in question.)
Gokuthemighty - Ria's cousin (yeah, seems we're a Final Fantasy Family LOL), and my friendly "rival" throughout the levels of our Monkhood. (I won though!
hehehe) Very knowledgeable, very helpful, although not very talkative... A Monk of actions, not words, but his fists speak incredible volumes...especially for a Hume. ^_~ He's also an amazing WHM and BRD, to boot, especially for BCNMs.
Azakia - Tommy's girl, an outstanding BLM and, well... Rikku in the living flesh. I need not say more. XD
Kalai - another of my oldest friends on Ifrit server, who has helped me with countless quests/missions/etc., at the mere asking. My DRK idol, back when I was actively leveling it... never before have I seen an Elvaan make DRK AF look so damn sharp. ^^ Last we spoke, however, she told me she was leaving FFXI at this month's end... ; ;
Findecano - One of the more recent casualties of the endless leveling/farming grind we call FFXI, but also one of my best in-game friends whether he knew it or not. We started at about the same time, and I share many of my earliest FFXI memories with him. Dropping DRK in favor of NIN, he became one of the best tanking/dmg-dealer NINs I'd ever seen. You will be missed, dear friend... good luck with all that you may do from this day onward.
Elizabeta - An amazing THF and NIN in the times I've leveled with her using both jobs. We've known each other for a pretty long time too, and I think she's convinced that, even after all this time, I still stalk her... (LOL inside joke)
Xelandria - Extremely friendly, extremely helpful and one hell of a great WHM. (Although she felt bad that the Sabotender Enamorado killed me on both successive Sandy 6-1 runs earlier XD )
Blace - I hear he's an amazing SMN, but I'd seen him in action as a PLD and he was awesome. Also, major points for not acting like a total snob when I told him I recognized his name from the KI forums. LOL
The members of both my LS's, DawnOfFate and FellowshipReunited - There is a reason why I've finally settled in and made your Linkshells my new home.
Anyone else I may have forgotten to mention, you must forgive me. I'm tired and writing this before bed... besides, if you've made a positive impact in my life on Ifrit server, you know who you are.
Worst: (Again, no particular order)
Eric - imo, the poster boy for ppl who get ahead in the game by having your friends PL you through Valkurm, Qufim, Yuhtunga/Yhoator AND Garlaige/Altepa...maybe even into Crawler's Nest, who knows. He simply never learned how to tank apparently. There is no excuse for a 50+ PLD to not know how to effectively voke off a pull or utilize Cure/Flash to keep hate. I even tried advising him politely in /tell and he responded with "Leave me alone!". "Shut up!!", "You're a MNK, you wouldn't know how to tank!!", etc. I've partied with him three times (to allow for "off nights" that everyone is prone to), and the results were the same each time.
Psykonight - apparently, A LOT of ppl have had run-ins with this piece of work. Taru BLM who does what he wants, goes where he wants, falls asleep when he wants in pts and tells you to go f*ck yourself if you ask him wtf he's doing...all while expecting to be invited back into parties once he's been kicked. Most notable run-in: my pt scouted and chose a camp in Boyahda Tree, Psyko somehow found his way to the Cloister of Storms then told us "I want avatar, goodbye" and disbanded... only to later beg for his spot back. He also doesn't find his own replacements and just tells you he's leaving, that it's the party's responsibility to replace him, not his. This guy just has no freakin' clue and really needs an attitude adjustment.
Gandilon - I know he reads these forums, I don't particularly care. He's an ok kid, but a massively blatant party jumper, which I can't stand, plus he just has no conscience about doing it either. (Gandy once mt'd a detailed /tell to me - meant for his BLM friend in my pt at the time - about how he made a new pt and he should tell us "something came up in LS" and disband to join his pt) He's also a sub-par PLD (better than Eric though) and probably would never level anyway, except for the paradox of "Well, he's a PLD and we need a tank, so....invite him I guess." Personally, I don't succumb to that bullsh*t mentality, but I know many ppl do... /shrug
Xiaodouding, Saihea, Hizoc, Euka, & Co. - some ppl have told me they're chinese gilsellers just leveling up, which i can kinda believe. (They used to be stationed in Valley of Sorrows 24/7, just leveling and dying every so often) Honestly, I couldn't care less if they're all Martian slavetraders... all I know is, they invited me all the way out to Valley of Sorrows from Jeuno for a party, I spent nearly 20k for powders and oils, and once I got there, they kept emoting /goodbye to me and spamming "6/6 Go away". Granted, I got another invite right away anyway, but this crew can still go f*ck themselves, especially if they really are gilsellers.
Blosm - a JP who I helped get acquainted with this game a long time ago when she was but a newb, and used to pt with her back then. She even made my friend list, and then I pt'd with her one time fairly recently in Garlaige Citadel, where I was having a bunch of lag (Yet the THF still managed ALL of their SATA's onto me, despite my stunted positioning at times), but this was unacceptable. Waited until I was about 300 tnl and said "{Disbanding Party}" and suddenly I was dropped. I put my seek up, sat there... all was normal I'd thought, until I saw replacements come in and suddenly they were up and partying again in less than 2 mins. If certain JPs feel justified in being xenophobic and obnoxiously dismissive toward NAs, then Blosm is a perfect example of why some NA's hate certain JP's in return as well.
Anyone else I may have forgotten... for this list, well... you've managed to penetrate my incredibly high tolerance at some point AND somehow managed to fade off of my shit-list. Don't consider it a relief though, just consider it a sign of your utter insignificance.
*** I'll admit in closing, that I'm pleased the names that appear on both of my lists here are names that 99% haven't been mentioned by others. Oh, and I'm really a nice guy, just very acid-tongued when you piss me off. XD ***

Like everyone else there is always a list of people whom have helped them get certain things, for example, Elixirboy and another ranger (which I happen to be blanking on at the moment) who took about 3 hours of their time to beat on liches and then another few min killing explosures and then haveing the intent to take us to crawlers nest for the mold, only to find out that we had those already. I know the ranger went through quite a lot of arrows that night, but never asked for money nor would take it when offered, or the little taru red mage who helped me with both my af hands and LB2, along with the rest of that alliance, these people know who they are.....if they know who I am that is.
While I may fail in remembering those who went out of their way to help me and others who were in my same position, those who I hate seem to stick in my mind more than those who help, I feel bad for this but thats how it has happened:
You got your usual list of those gilsellers, Motleygnu, Edgymonkey and the rest of that ordelle's cave crew who I love to slap and steal stroper chymes from every now and again.
then there's Lovesister, who now spends most of their time in Beadeaux. From the level range of 35-50 there would be partys in which I would be invited into where people would ask the strange questions weather or not I knew how to sata vp or pull or do what thieves are supposed to do, only to find out that this person was in the pt not too long before. I later found out that this person was chinese and was having a difficult time figuring out how to sata vp this was still around the high 30's low 40's range. Only later on when Lovesister was 58 and pt'd with a person from ly LS they still did not know how to sneak attack or trick attack. I'm sorry but thats plenty of time to learn sata if you wanted to take being a thief seriously. But since everytime I /sea all Lovesister now they're in Beadeaux with either a lvl 5 war or bst.

Hmm this is my first time posting here, but thought it was time to find some new forums to surf (well new to me) I have many people that i think very highly of for one reason or another and not listed in any order really. And will include members of several HNM shells that might not always see eye to eye, even with me personally, but that should never stand in the way of reconizing these people
Monachy LS- This is my home and my family. While some will be listed seperately, i can't even beging to say what these people mean to me. I went through a hard time with game, and when i was lost, they helped me find joy in this enigma that is FFXI. <3 you guys There will never be any other place i will call home than monarchy. These are the most imporant people in game (and several out of game). You all to me are the some of the most amazing players in your jobs, but first and foremost, just amazing people. You showed me that NA/HK/EU/JPN/whatever can all exist in one LS where there is no US vs THEM. Again i Love you all so much.
Fatesealers LS- You were my first HNM LS. While there would be drama, as can happen with large HNM shells, there were also good times. And while i chose to leave and tried to do on as good of terms as i could, i never thought any less of you as a LS and as individuals. I learned so much while with you and made more friendships that i could even list here.
SamuriPizzaCats LS- Such an amazing group. Every last one of you. A great midlvl ls, that is always there for one another to help in game, and share in laughs and fun. Don't ever change guys. And I'm proud to say that i will always be a member of this LS even if i spend 95% of my time in my new home at Monarchy, you guys are always in my thoughts and are great people.
Myskhal - I can't even begin to say what this girl means to me. She was my mentor in my eyes when i started doing HNMs with Fatesealers and there was so much i learned from her. And to top it off, i grew to look at her as an amazing person and friend inside and out of game.
Vaelen- An amazing leader and a great guy. Quirky but great guy. Leading FS was by far not an easy task i'm sure, but he sunk so much time and energy into things, and while people might not have always agreed with him (like everyone ever will on anything with anyone) he always did what he felt was right and fair for his LS. I respect him greatly as a leader.
Obie & Jedix - I list them together because they are such the matched pair life as companions in and out of game. You two are probably my closest friends in this game right now and i don't know what i would do without you, and both amazingly talently players.
Cyix/Talis - One person two great characters. You are my stoner buddy, and love watching ever death you endure as talis, and how great of a player you are. You do so much for monarchy and others that so many fail to notice. But i'm taking this time to tip my hat to you my friend.
Murph/Toka- Another couple in and out of game that i will mention together. Dedicated, Friendly, Helpful, and pretty damn fun people to come around. I will always enjoy the time i spend with you guys in game. You guys are good at your jobs like no other, and always there for your linkshell and your friends. Anyone should be so lucky to have friends like you guys.
Noodlebrain- OMG I LOVE YOU NUFF SAID... Lets have babies!! (all honest though, anyone that knows noodles knows although loves to be lazy, when it comes down to it, he is there for anyone that needs him, and always put the effort forth to be a good person and asset to not just Monarchy but all that know him. <3 <3
Aalan- I don't even know where to start on Aalan. He is probably the level headed, together person i know in game. I will always respect his opinion and have turned to him many times when i was just frustrated and fed up. And he was just always a breath of fresh air, and would help me to look at things from EVERY angle, not just the angle my current state of mind wanted to let me. you are a great person. and it's an honor knowing you.
Darkrikku/Littletidus- Another Knock Out couple. I've shared so many good times with you guys and will always look fondly on the memories i share with you guys. And will always be there in a second to help either of you at a moments notice if it was in my power. As it has always been between us. <3
Arthars- Regardless what anyone wants to say about you, or bitch that your HNM ls "whores" mobs, or what anyone has personal beef with you. I am not them, and you havn't shown me a reason personally to not think you belong here. You run a successful Dynamis LS, you have dedication to the game, and have always had a good relationship with us in Monarchy. Whisp- while on topics of WHM, this man can not go unmentioned. While i do not know him personally, i can say from seeing his posts, and all the though he has put into WHM as a job, even writing up an extremely good guide for beginning whms that is the best i've seen and always up for friendly debate on issues when it comes to our job. I would advise any WHM to take any advise this man might give them when it comes to WHM. I have to give this man respect. And would question anyone who would try to say other about this man.
Hccmike- Now this is a touchy one, he and i have not always seen eye to eye, and have even had our own full blown flames at eachother, but none of that could ever take away from the kind of person he is really. I remember asking this lvl 60mnk to help me with my AF, and then he showed up as a 75BLM and helped me get all my coffer keys without even knowing me, and i'm sure that this was not anything out of the ordinary for him. So yeah, might even come as a shock to him that i would list his name, but I would never doubt myself in saying that he is a good player and deep down a good guy. Regardless of our differences in views on certain issues. And respect him for sticking to his views, and atleast listening to others and weighing them out before taking his own action.

I will not go into a flame war of who sucks or who is an *******, cuz it's just not worth the time. Even good people have bad moments, and bad people have good moments. Try to remember we are all just human, and play this game with different goals and idea of what our game play is going to be. Took me a while to just say f ' it and not get worked up over most of this **** that goes on in game. People are going to be who they are. If you have a problem with them, so what, there are thousands of others out there that are not those people. And they can only effect you as much as you let them. Remember you pay to play this game, enjoy it, have fun, and if you lose the fun in petty drama, and blame games as WE ALL have done, take a step back and just breath, and remember its just a game. Who cares who whores what, or who hates who, or what LS hates what LS since like i said before, we all play this game with our own views on how we want to play it. No one is right or wrong as long as you are following the REAL rules of the game set by the maker. And if there are "unfair" advantages, who cares, find fun anyways in the game, and if you can't, why are you playing? chill guys, even i had to take that advice to find my fun in the game again. Just charish the time you have with your friends in the game.

Now i actually waited to last to mention who in my opinion is probably the best person on our server. Always out to help anyone he can, regardless who they are. Always looks from all sides of every issue, and probably the most kind hearted person i know in this game. And I'd dare anyone to try to prove me wrong. This guy would be a welcome addition to anybody in game or in real life i'm sure. Fight to power man. It's a real joy knowing we have player on our server like you, and people in life that have the heart you have. So i close this thread with your name.

Monachy LS- This is my home and my family. While some will be listed seperately, i can't even beging to say what these people mean to me. I went through a hard time with game, and when i was lost, they helped me find joy in this enigma that is FFXI. <3 you guys There will never be any other place i will call home than monarchy. These are the most imporant people in game (and several out of game). You all to me are the some of the most amazing players in your jobs, but first and foremost, just amazing people. You showed me that NA/HK/EU/JPN/whatever can all exist in one LS where there is no US vs THEM. Again i Love you all so much.
Fatesealers LS- You were my first HNM LS. While there would be drama, as can happen with large HNM shells, there were also good times. And while i chose to leave and tried to do on as good of terms as i could, i never thought any less of you as a LS and as individuals. I learned so much while with you and made more friendships that i could even list here.
SamuriPizzaCats LS- Such an amazing group. Every last one of you. A great midlvl ls, that is always there for one another to help in game, and share in laughs and fun. Don't ever change guys. And I'm proud to say that i will always be a member of this LS even if i spend 95% of my time in my new home at Monarchy, you guys are always in my thoughts and are great people.
Myskhal - I can't even begin to say what this girl means to me. She was my mentor in my eyes when i started doing HNMs with Fatesealers and there was so much i learned from her. And to top it off, i grew to look at her as an amazing person and friend inside and out of game.
Vaelen- An amazing leader and a great guy. Quirky but great guy. Leading FS was by far not an easy task i'm sure, but he sunk so much time and energy into things, and while people might not have always agreed with him (like everyone ever will on anything with anyone) he always did what he felt was right and fair for his LS. I respect him greatly as a leader.
Obie & Jedix - I list them together because they are such the matched pair life as companions in and out of game. You two are probably my closest friends in this game right now and i don't know what i would do without you, and both amazingly talently players.
Cyix/Talis - One person two great characters. You are my stoner buddy, and love watching ever death you endure as talis, and how great of a player you are. You do so much for monarchy and others that so many fail to notice. But i'm taking this time to tip my hat to you my friend.
Murph/Toka- Another couple in and out of game that i will mention together. Dedicated, Friendly, Helpful, and pretty damn fun people to come around. I will always enjoy the time i spend with you guys in game. You guys are good at your jobs like no other, and always there for your linkshell and your friends. Anyone should be so lucky to have friends like you guys.
Noodlebrain- OMG I LOVE YOU NUFF SAID... Lets have babies!! (all honest though, anyone that knows noodles knows although loves to be lazy, when it comes down to it, he is there for anyone that needs him, and always put the effort forth to be a good person and asset to not just Monarchy but all that know him. <3 <3
Aalan- I don't even know where to start on Aalan. He is probably the level headed, together person i know in game. I will always respect his opinion and have turned to him many times when i was just frustrated and fed up. And he was just always a breath of fresh air, and would help me to look at things from EVERY angle, not just the angle my current state of mind wanted to let me. you are a great person. and it's an honor knowing you.
Darkrikku/Littletidus- Another Knock Out couple. I've shared so many good times with you guys and will always look fondly on the memories i share with you guys. And will always be there in a second to help either of you at a moments notice if it was in my power. As it has always been between us. <3
Arthars- Regardless what anyone wants to say about you, or bitch that your HNM ls "whores" mobs, or what anyone has personal beef with you. i just read this forum and it have its funny part's and i see name of some of the ppl i have played with, and that have quit, sad to see so many good ppl leave the game,

In this day and age, one would think we could rise above discrimination and especially not bring it into a "fantasy world" meant to bring unity of different types of people for entertainment. I know language barriers are hard to overcome, but seems the auto-translate function works enough for me to get by with my little Japanese I do know.

Damion (in my opionon the most versitail RDM there is)
Bad: Gilseller thats about it =/ most people I don't like I ignore. And when I mean gilsellers I mean in respects to the camping part of the situation not the jacking up of prices or anything.
