you

can't cast it on yourself, what I do is usually set up a macro, such as :

/ja "

Cover" or if you want to actually use the person's name (say you party with the

same people very often ) /ja "Cover" "mrhappy" etc etc



it's a

good idea to have the cover macro'ed for either the whm or the blm, depending on who gets

attacked the most. It lasts for, meh maybe 30 seconds and means any damage that player may

take from a mob you take instead. You can only use it once every 5 minutes or so though, and

it's good for grabbing hate.

macro is: /ja "Cover"
so u do that and then select the party member with the

F2-6 buttons.
but at the lower lvls (35-50) ppl didnt really know what i was doing and

when i ran infront of them they ran away:/ but once blms get ainchant magic they know what

to do ^^

lol yeah

that's the big problem, getting the blm or whm to hold still while you try to cover them,

and man it's hard to explain what you're doing while you're trying to do it when a mob is

going agro on everyone and on goblin crack. I'll probably end up changing my macro a bit so

they won't take off running, freaking out and all that good mage stuff
