You can take pictures of your characters in the Modelviewer with fraps or print screen.


This is my rough example of how to cut out your character from photoshop.
*Make a clean cut of your character from the model viewer

*Magic Eraser settings. Tolerance 0,I prefer to keep Anti-Alias Checked. Click the BG.Select>>Expand by 1 pixel. Then get rid of the extra bg color. Some info about tolerance. Tolerance selects the colors in closest relation. If it is on 0 it will strictly select colors with the exact same look as themselves. If you set it to a higher tolerance it will be more "tolerant" and may selecter other shades, darker or lighter.

Janeba this is much more worth it than doing "I'll make you a sig thread". Photoshop came with my computer but i haven't had the time or patience to learn how to do it.

I personally prefer using Magic Eraser, 0 Tolerance and no Antil-Alias to cut out from model viewer.

Thanks Janeba and Andy I just made it like an hour ago using your guide. Just the first part. I also made one for my friend but it sucks.



For some reason it has this random line at the top for I dont know why. I'm going to switch sigs everyday in like a cycle. So yours is up tomorrow.

Oh and i burnt my tongue drinking hot chocolate so it hurts.

And I'm just kind of teaching myself photoshop via tuts and messing with it. So I'll make stuff and randomly make a thread about it if i feel its KI worthy.

Well since I am bored and Photoshop CAME with my computer. And I'm a junior in highschool so my parents are hounding me about grades and what I'm doing after highschool. Now I'm seriously thinking about going into Graphic Design or something of the sort. I mean I love art I always have but doing it on the computer with ffxi and other games just makes me giggle and something else.

hey janeba can you put a tutorial up for how to make the kind of blur you made for typhooncloud's sig? not the blur of the background but the blur of the character.
