wondering (ninja isn't my main job) if i was to sub ninja during avatar fights and use

utsusemi, would it absorb their two hour? i've been pondering ways to actually live through

that two hour (as a taru drk i am perfectly aware of my chances ><) for a while and this

seems like the best one :/

sorry bud doesn't stop AoEs only direct target effects, tho it will stop damaging spells

and debuffs assuming they are not AoEs

Edit: just a note tho if you bring a bard and

make sure not to fight on the Avatar's day (like its a bad idea to fight ifrit on firesday)

you should be able to survive it as long as the bard maintains the appropriate carol

well, thnx for the advice though... i don't mind dying but it's as bad as a lvl 30 whm

going to an avatar battle to leech if i die at 50% avatar life... xp loss is one thing,

dragging others down is another.
