i was thinking about hume.

like the galkas race tht much but they are cool.

I'd

have to say Galkas make the best drks. Their souleater damage is very good and they hit

about as hard as elvaans and seem to miss less. Mithra drks do noticably less with souleater

and only have 3 extra dex than a galka drk at lv70. Galka int is decent and have enough mp

for all the important spells.

Race dose

make a difference. but for every loss with each race there is a up. take for instance Hume

drk have lil less damage, less HP but more MP than us Elvaan Drks. there is always something

to make up for each race. all depends on what u want to do most with a drk.

thinking what's the best race for everything and pick your race at the beginning of the

game and do whatever you want. I have had Taru PLD's with Galka RDM in my party at the same

time. I didn't say a word and we actually got about 3000exp total till we broke up..

for any job really race is not going to make your character bad...

especially for drk, you arent going to notice any difference in the essential parts....you

still play the same way.

There is

no one best race for anything i dont party with to many Dark Knights but i know a few elvaan

ones and even some Tarutaru dark knights, there damage is all almost even magic sucks no

matter what you do, so just pick what you want and do it.

must not know those taru drks very well if u say magic sux no matter what =P my drains do

about twice the damage of other drks and normal spells do about 1.5-2 times more. nuking

i'm about equal to a rdm but i just have lower lvls spells =P

aspir, and drain spells are good no matter what race u r =P

thx ut i have chose a HUME..galka is too big ....taru r too cute(scary at the same time).........mithra is too hot and sexy to be drk......elvaan r too tall.....Hume sames Perfect b/c they have even with everything

-so imo, humes are the best because they are the most rounded
-galka would be the best but they have almost no mp, which can lead to problems
-mithra could be argued the best because drks need to hit a lot, but they have a slight lack of hp and strength
-tarus can dish out magic like no one's business, but personally i think drks should be mostly melee, which tarus lack severelly in, also, they don't have much hp so souleater is crap for them
-elvaan hit the least, and have the worst magic potency, though they have more mp than a galka, but, in my experience, if you can get +acc items, then you can have a very fun time, and being able to hit for the best melee dmg is a plus too

I like hume, you get a good balance of Hp and MP for your drk, comes in handy in tight spots sometimes. I do good damage as well considering i have a rdm subed. Friend of mine is a taru drk, has a little trouble dealing high dmg but the magic skill more than makes up for it.

No matter what race you choose for whatever reason, if you don't like the way your character looks you will be very very sorry.

The only job race REALLY REALLY matters is ranger. Taru amd Mithra are really the only choices there.

every other job has little race diffrence, unless it comes to mages that need tons of mp.

as a drk, however, i much prefer Hume or Galkas, because they are accurate, and more damage then mithra.
