I am

Hume and I want to become a Drk as my main. my basic is warrior. And Iwant to be all strngth

sort of. also to become very powerful Drk. DRk needs MP.
So should i change Blk Mage at

wht lvl and i want to become a Dragoon as a sub.

Blm

and Drg are both not very effective subs for drk. I would recomend thf as a sub or warr. I

would give you reasons but im too tired sleep.gif

  • That had to hurt. I felt it too.

Dragoon

offers almost nothing as a sub. Stats, mostly. You don't have your wyvern, and your

polearm skill will either be crippled or dependent on your main.

A dark knight is

rarely hurting for MP after they get Aspir. Pay attention to windurst quests, work as you

go, and you'll be set to get it easy.

Subbing black mage gives you a few spells

earlier, as well as a few you wouldn't normally have, but you also won't have the strength

others get from subbing monk or warrior.

If you're going all strength, DRK/WAR is

the most solid, simple setup you can ask for.

Another

good combo is Drk/Sam, Samurais gather tp faster, and drk has big time tp moves later on,

this is the one that makes the most sense to me. :/

But it

also generates the most hate ... so you need to be careful ^^

I like my WAR sub. I

think it'll be good even in the higher levels (Post 60s) because in all honesty, I cannot

live w/o Berserk sleep.gif; Couple that with Mith/Chiefkabobs and we're talking about serious [b

]consistent[/b] damage output ... I'll level THF and SAM for "endgame" [post 70] just

to play around with them and maybe do a little comparison ...

>.<

dont ever sub BLM as a DRK, our elemental magic skill isnt on par with the amount of INT we

have (very little)... T.T it's not surprising that you hit for more damage than you do with

magic.. and magic takes a long casting time -.-"

take either THF or WAR as sub so

they enhance your regular attack even better ^^

as for DRG.. yep, DRG does look cool

>.<; makes me want to play DRG too.. but i've already given so much into DRK =.= i am not

giving up!

You

don't get your Wyvern with DRG sub. DRG sub sucks, I'm sorry, but it does. BLM sub isn't

good either.. DRK is a melee job, with some nice additional magic capabilities... but those

capabilities aren't supposed to be capitalized on. It just doesn't work.

Good

combinations:
DRK/WAR
DRK/THF
DRK/SAM (Only sub SAM at LV60 and above, though)

Those three are basically the only viable "effective" DRK combinations. Does

that mean you have to choose one of those three? No, it doesn't. Your game, play how you

want. What I'm saying is that if you expect to get PT invites later on, then it would be

wise to choose one of those three. If you wanna go DRK/DRG and think it'll work out, well..

good luck.

  • Sweden would be better off without Skåne

Though

subbing SAM is ideal for PvP, not in PT... at least in my opinion.
