I am

trying to start my AF weapon quest and i went to talk to the guy in Bastok, got the quest

and then headed over to speak with Cochal-Monchal in Windy and he doesn't give me any

information, just says one line like "i don't know what to do" or something like that

...nothing about hte book or the Yagudo or anything. I'm wondering do I need whatever

information he will give me or can i just go buy a cherry and spawn the NM? I don't want

to get some help and get out there and find out that the NM won't spawn or i don't get hte

drop when he's killed because the taru woudln't talk to me. ....has anyone else had this

problem or have a solution? Any help would be gerat thanks!

i had

the same prob, it wasn't very clear when the guy was talking to me, but what your'e

supposed to do is talk to another galka i think in one of the bottom floor black smith

area's. i forget his name but just talk to everyone and he will give you some key item you

give to the guy in windy. so yeah..have a fun trek back to bascrap.

the Galka's name is MIghty Strikes or something... Like the 2h ability...?

you so much ^^ I'll head back out there and look for the guy, none of the walkthroughs I

read mentioned needing to talk to any Galka's besides Raibaht, or maybe i just wasn't

paying close enough attention. Thank goodness for the airship so the trip wo'nt be *that*

you need to talk to two galkas...one in cids room..one in the dark forging room..something like that..then go to windy

*Talk to Cid's Assistant (Galka) in his room in the metalworks

*Talk to Head of the darksteel forge (Galka), also in the metalworks

*Talk to the Librarian in windurst's library of magics (Taru)

*Fight the Yagudo NM in giddius (bring a Yagudo Cherry to trade to the ??? in the back right hand side of the room to spawn him)

*examine the ??? after the fight

*Talk to Cid's Assistant again

*You're now the proud owner of a Raven Scythe ... for 2 or 3 levels before you discard it in favor of a better scythe.
