I bought

the game for ps2 about a week ago and started with a BLM. Eventually, i got to lvl 7 but it

took much more time than i thought because i would often die on decent challenge creatures

(they would attack me when i was casting so i couldnt pull of any spells). I was wondering,

since im already a Tarutaru if i should be a monk. I was thinking that the Tarutaru's

magic abilities might be wasted, but i tried it out and got to lvl 4 in no time. Tell me

what you think, cuz im still really not sure what job class exactly i want to be.

Man,

Dont worry about races and what class to be. I know 2 galkan whms who are just as good as a

taru, and i know taru plds who've saved my ass many times.

IMHO Taru Monks rock

because of their naturally high agility which has a higher hit rate. And taru dex isnt bad

either.

If you sub warrior, You wont have to worry about the str issue either.

Everything can be corrected by armor, just have to put more effort into certain

areas.

I say go for it. I wanna level my taru to be a monk someday. ^^

ya

its just as Babinski said your race doesn't matter you just have to buy equipment to make

up for what you lack i'm elvaan samurai i have horrid accuracy so i buy all the dex and

accuracy + equipment that i can find to make up for my defects

My Jantaru is a War/Rdm and heīs in Qufim right now. One thing is for sure

though if you gonna be a Tarutaru fighter. "Be well equipped". As for me my Tarutaru

Jantaru is now leveling in Qufim and is very goody well equipped(its what i think though^^).

Played last night and i outdamage an Elvaan War/Mnk.

These are the gear he is wearing

right now

Weapon: Great Sword 33DMG, Attack+7
Ranged weapons: Lv.1 Crossbow for

pulling
Earrings: 2xPhysical Earrings(Converts 25MP to 25HP)
Armor set. Lv.21 Beetle

Armor Set
Neckless: Lv.21 Spike Neckless STR+3 DEX+3 MIND-6
Back: Dhalmel Cape i think

itīs named. Def:3
Rings: Balance&Courage rings. STR+2 DEX+2
Food using: Meat

Mithkabob(though i usualy use this at beginning of pts so i can outdamage some of the

classes and prove that i donīt deal crappy dmg.

Also note this: Playing a melee

Tarutaru is VERY FUN. People you play with usualy admires you cause iīts not normal to see a

melee tarutaru.

Word

Babinski.

I have seen a couple Lv 75 Taru Monks running around in Jeuno and I'm

impressed by it. Same thing with Lv 75 Galka Smn. If you want to be that Race and have

that Job ... don't let anyone hold you down! Go for it. Don't listen to flames that you

might get!

As long

as you kno how to play the job, it doesnt matter what race you are. Its always cool to try

things out.
