Everyone think that NINs should tank with full enmity/vit/haste gear on gods and this is not true.
The Idea of NIN is Evasion thats what help nin to tank so u need to wear full evasion gear if ur stright tanking gods.
for kite wear full enmity gear. if u have a pld buddy share tank with u than u need to use afew enmity gear.
melees can sata ws u and this is more than enough to keep hate. Byakko is the easiest god i ever fought with mambo he is a joke .. if u want to know what is the hardest NMs/gods in sky that nin can tank I'll say Kirin > Seiyru > Genbu > Despot > Faust > Byakko > Suzaku rest are cake .. btw ya u need enmity/-dmg taken with faust and kirin. I have tanked every single mob in sky with my nin and i have like 5 equip set for my nin.

keep in mind taht the guide is very very old, and much of the information may no longer be correct. i have no further intention of updating guides on a public forum.

Alvehyanna :
It's really not that expensive at all.

Before we fought our first god ever, I bought all the gear I needed based on other ninja friends, and a thread on this board I created.

One evening of fishing should provide the funds to buy a complete Ninja set-up, except for maybe the earth staff.

10K Head: Arhat's (-% dmg down)
7K Neck: anything, I've been usning Parry Torque
120K Earrings: Eris (Emity) (many ninja's alreay own 1 or 2)
18K Body: Arhats (-6% dmg down)
12K hands: Anything with descent DEF/VIT
150K / free Rings: Mermains (emnity) & Jelly ring (-% dmg down)
15K Legs: Arhats
275K Waiste :warwolf
175K earth staff

Most ninjas will have mermaids already, and maybe an eris or two. The only major purchases are the warworl and earth staff - and I'm sure a BLM could lend a staff until you get a few v.claws to sell.

I spent a total of 600K before our first run. I'm sure a 75 Ninja has a income source by they time they are 75, since we spend about 50-75K per EXP session without blinking twice...hehe...I made a funyy...

Good guide.

Something to add would also be to make a "low threat" job like RDM the party leader...if a tank dies, that person can boot them and invite one with thier flag up.

Just thought I'd point out, wow, who woulda though almost 2 years later the change in price on these items, lol. 275k Warwolf Belt? More like 5k, or even free, lol.

Dragonix :
Skillchain/Magic Burst > DoT

ROFL i use meat on Gods now in a Acc build as i got enough merits in h2h smile.gif and i can see me hittitng from 50-120dmg. It went with no weapons once to prove i could out DD a BLM and i still toke hate (died 8 times last night from DDing with no weapons) so erm DoT > skill chain / magic burst. Yes MB is nice but i rather spam 2 WSs in time it takes for the THF to get tp to light SC with them tongue.gif
