Well, today was DEFINETLY not my day.

So I was 4000/5200 tnl.

Go to kill a Gambler, my pet gets him really down, he uses aeroga and kills my pet. I'm like ok cool, I can finish him off. And before I know it, he's casting aeroga again, and criticals me after that.

Than, I always think a death is ok, specially with that moghancement of EXP. So I respawn, get about 300/400 exp lost back, and this Leecher, once again is almost done with my pet. Silences me so I cant cure (100 hp left) and he's about 1 hit from death, criticals me twice in a row and I die.

Had to vent somewhere.. waste of a post /
But is it me, or do monsters ALWAYS critical when you are near death..?

Death is always a bummer and its worse when you flame your LS about it and all they do is laugh!

How is bst anyways? Have a level 1 and I have been thinking about playing it for a long time thinking that the exp is fairly quick..

Yea, I quit my DRK at 42.. and I even got AF1 for it too haha.
Yes, I do hate it when LS's laugh about it, but they don't laugh when it happens to me / I guess special privelages being a girl.. lol?

The exp is VERY quick. If you know what you're doing. I sometimes get 2kxp in 30-60 minutes.

As an Elvaan what would be a pretty good sub for BST? My mp being near nothing... a mage wouldn't work.

hmmm not sure, maybe drk/warrior could be good ... maybe monk.. I can't honestly Say I know

I use 1H weapons, damage is ok...

sorry to butt in but PLD is a good sub. You get nice pld charisma and some VIT bonuses, and some light healing... if you've got the pld adv job go for it, otherwise I'd go for warrior or maybe monk.

Cassandrea I know what you mean. It's like, when something goes wrong, all possible things go wrong.

Like, you get low on life, your pet dies, you get critical'd twice, then you get another mob aggroing you which forces you to juggle charms and stuff. Augh, I hate stuff like that.

I *hate* aggro. Really interrupts stuff. ;x
