I couldn't believe the insane amount of hp regen that thing had. There was NO WAY I could beat it. If it didn't have that, he wouldn't have been that big of an issue. I had to cry to the linkshell for reinforcements after ten minutes of fighting him solo. Niv came to the rescue, and we tore him apart. I was already fighting him for 20 minutes by the time she showed up, and hadn't even nicked him due to that tremendous hp regen.

He didn't drop a damn thing. :wall

Regen is the enemy of mages everywhere. You need a serious damage-dealer (e.g. Monk, Ranger, Warrior) to handle NMs with it. I remember saving a Paladin and Black Mage team who couldn't put enough of a hurt on Novv the Whitehearted to even get him to use Benediction. On the other hand, I solo'd him the other day. :-P
