I never thought of it that way kuro. I was thinking that at least SAMs would be able to actually accumulate TP faster than the other classes, which is not always the case right now, even with meditate.

You have to think about the fact that in a party, it don't matter if we can accumulate fastest... we still have to wait for the other members anyways so ... and it's not like having more TP when we get to fire off the weaponskill is gonna be a super duper deal...
The DRK or whoever chains with you likely will be the one who comes AFTER you because they still do way more dmg with their weaponskill.

Everyone needs to just wait. I think like someone else said this is concerning double attacks in multi-hit skills which should be corrected. I really hope that it is not what everyone else is saying about only getting 1 TP more for each hit because in my mind that would just a drastic gameplay change, sams use spears for the sole purpose of penta and it's also part of the reason ppl choose to be a goon. I would hope that SE wouldn't change a major advantage of a job after someone has lvl'ed it all the way up, but I guess we'll see.
P.S. btw whoever was talking about they hoped this nerfed penta so ppl would stop spamming ws......drg's can easily spam penta all they want and not gain hate *if* they know what they're doing. Especially being a drg/thf I know this. It's one of the few benefits of the job, but I can control hate better than any other job. tricck +penta off of pld everytime trick is up; thf's or drk/thf can even soul+last resort+ trick +sneak+guilliotine off me then i superjump, mob dies fast everyone stays alive and btw add up the knda damage you think that combo does and that's only possible with drg and pereferrably drg/thf if you want the drg to spam penta too
all about playing your job right, i'm only 50 atm so i can't trick yet, but can still manage hate and i know ppl that use this strat and it actually *gasp* makes a drg very important to the pt setup allowing the pt to kill MUCH faster than if they were missing a drg

i dont expect a drg to be able to spam penta thrust to party with them. in fact i hate when they do it because it draws alot of hate and they have to super jump so the thief can't trick off them.
hell, 90% of the time you dont land more than 2 hits on EXP mobs.

Live with it if they get nerfed personally if i was a dev i would see the activating mediatate and spamming 3 pentas thing as a problem that needs fixing. This infinate asuran fists thing is just the straw that broke the camel's back.
i hear Skewer is more powerful than penta anyways, maybe now people will actually use it

If the Nerf does go into effect and the amount of TP is changed so that Dragoons don't get about half tp return. Then I think the 50-60 gap will be even harder for us. But maybe post 60 people wont be able to bitch about it as much. We'll be able to be included in more SCs since we won't have someone say "Just Spam Penta and Get out of our way."

I worry that they won't make an animation (see /slap and /dance). After all, an emote need be nothing more than:

You know what I think is funny? A 16 rdm that thinks they know how many times a drg can spam pentathrust and also knows the hit rate of penta lol. 95%of the time I land 3-5hits on exp mobs, with plenty of +acc gear 2 hits or less is pretty rare....

I will admit I was only reading the copy/paste job above, I have not actually looked at Play Online. The above neglects that all-important word.
