I'm quite fond of Pot-au-feu, I'd like to have the option of using curries though, since e-peen is an integral if counter-productive part of playing RNG.

I'm generally sane enough to do the smart thing, but a little insanity now and then never really hurt anyone.

Well, my point was that you're really not losing out on substantial Ranged Accuracy even without weapon merits. People say silly things like, "You'll never land a Sidewinder without Archery merits," but let's consider rationally what you're losing. It's about 14 Accuracy without merits. That's not really a terrifying loss, especially considering Ranger has 48 Accuracy/Ranged Accuracy at level 70 from job traits.

That said, Ranged Accuracy or Ranged Attack on your Wardecors, either way can be adjusted for elsewhere in gear. Ranged Accuracy is just easier to come by, which is why I went for the Ranged Attack.

Will be nice for WS's and when I need even more racc. Too bad they don't stack with Crimson Cuisses

Is that a ridill in your melee setup? and if so....why?

I guess there is a new trend (or maybe an old one revived) amongst FFXI players that says meleeing with multi hit sword with D skill is totally justifiable these days..

...or maybe I'm just missing something....*pun intended*

Few things you could do, since you are a Taru, use the RSE2 feet for WS (4 str). Also, if you are using Pot-au-feu, go with (2) +5STR rings for WS, especially since you went with the racc WS helm. Might look into getting Pahluwan pants or enkidu's subligar for more STR as well.

Qiqirns Collar is kind of a waste in my opinion, rather have more acc in the neck slot so I don't miss my TP shots, than do 1 more damage with each shot. Also if you own a Rajas, I believe Rajas + Skadi pants full time is a 6 hit setup with vali's, might need to add 1 more stp, but I don't remember. That would be /nin or /war, /sam you are pretty much 6 hit no matter what.

I had them, I could buy them back, idk I guess I'm just being kind of cheap, trying to hold out for Skadi Feet since I'm 2/3 on them just need the 35 and the next pair is mine anyway.

I have 2 STR Rings I've been messing with from time to time, Just kind of tweaking my set up when ever I get the chance to play RNG, I've started to use one STR ring full time on WS, the second one I play it by ear.

I have Enkidu Subligar, Still not sure which one I like better yet for WS, it's kind of a close call.

I usually do fine w/ ranged TP shots, Pot-a-feu is amzingly broken w/ ranged accuracy.

With the other jobs in my sig atm I am Tamas4life.

I don't get to play w/ my WS options very often with my other jobs, but I try when i can.
