Elementals are not arcana. They cannot be intimidated by DRKs. I've done enough intimidation to Golems, Magic Jars, Bombs/Explosures, Dolls and Weapons of all type to know this.

However, a DRK, because of abilities to cast spells, can do well against Elementals. A BLM would be even better, however, esp with a subbed WHM and Ancient Spells O.O

I can take on elementals in Batallia, Qufim, Sauro and Rolanberry w/o incident. Drain works so uber against them, it's not funny. I just refresh myself with Aspir which also works great against them. Do not attempt to take on any EP elementals on Lightsday O.O I've been going after EP elementals since I was a level 24 DRK sprout ;p

Fire is also in elshimo ( the khazam island.. most zones), and meriphataud mtns.

Dark is also in rangumont pass.

Light is in a few places.. mostly qufim. Never seen em anywhere but qufim zones... but im sure there are some.

NOTE: Light and dark elementals are much harder than thier normal elemental counterparts.

You can light elementals in Delkfutt's Tower (Upper), Ru'Aun Gardens, I think in Ru'Avitau and Behemoth's Domain,

Might. Although I have a couple of high level RDM friends and even they won't chase after a DC elemental in solo play. You have to remember, at high levels, even EPs can slaughter you ...
