I decided to quit for a while or for a long time, After being told by atleast 5 members from my linkshell that taru's can't do nothing else but being mage, I decided to quit because its the only job that I like. I might come back but I don't know yet, or mabey I should go make a fugin elvaan...

I won't give my stuff away, because I never got **** in the 72 days I wasted on this game. Thats it for now.

Get a new LS. This is BS. I've pt'd with great Taru pld's and nin's. Personally, I was surprised they did so well being Taru's, but don't just label Taru's as mage. Sure that's what they are best at, but if you're a decent player with a good amount of money, you can still be something. Maybe even a rng.

Problem is that this LS is the only thing that kept me playing but now since I dropped it theres no reason for playing anymore.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I think that there have been a few taru who have proven people wrong.

Example:

Slyde: Probally the most stacked taru NA Monk, He has put many hours into this game(as we all have), and he has overcome many mountains to be at where he is today.

Me: I started BLM, said "fuck this shit". Started Thief, Now im 75 Thief, and am very happy withmyself in EXP party.

There are many more(just used two prime examples, not trying to be cocky). Ranpu you yourself are strong, you have been a great player and friend in the game. Taru are not Too Weak, yet we are stronger because we choose todo the "Impossible."

No seriously, I hate tarus, but just because you'll be less effective than other races doesn't mean you'll be useless.

honestly, end game, everyone's stats even out, i mean, taru aren't as strong as an elvaan end game, however, that's like comparing the mp capacity of an elvaan end game to that of a taru's, now, thats just stock, not wearing any eq at all, end game, there are so many choices of equipment, rse gear, jse gear, and so much more new things to come out, that you can even out the stats of each race, earlier Lv's it may be a little more difficult, but that comes with the territory, look in the book, it even says it's difficult to play a taru melee job, that don't mean they are worthless just means at the earier Lv's you may lack a little str, but you'll make up for it in dex or agi or w/e your race focus' in, take race/job for example, i am an elvaan/sam = [elemental seal] [blind]ga but now adays, since ohat's, haub's, hauberk's (or w/e they are called), sniper's, etc, (the list goes on -.- and most importantly, sushi, most of that stuff gets blown out the door and you can focus on what you really need as a melee, str

Scabbers was one of the strongest war/nin I fought with. Just adding to Dorp's examples of kickass tarutarus. You can be any job you want to no matter what race you enjoy playing as. Don't leave the game because comments from a few; don't give them the satisfaction.

My fiance kalii is being told how to do her job and crab cause they dont want her to use a sword they want her to use 2 axes instead of 1 and shes still doing her thing so yea ppl say stupid crap just because they think its right

any race can be any job they want just have to stick with it

Taru = amazing NIN's (one of the best races in evasion and AGI)
Taru = Good PLD's (insane MP to keep hate)
Taru = Descent BST's (Good MP w/ WHM sub)
Taru = Good SAM (Its all about storing TP and making SC's, less about damage)
Taru = meh DRK's (this is probably the worst melee job choice for a Taru to approach. Its doable, but we are weak in this)
Taru = Entertaining DRG (ever see a taru in full DRG AF? It just looks so cool who cares how much damage you do!)
Taru = Good RNG (if your a RNG... it doesn't matter what race you are, you'll be doing a crap load of damage and thats the end of it)
Taru = meh MNK (next to DRK, this is probably the 2nd weakest job for a taru. Again, not impossible to be good, just more challenges to over come)
Taru = meh WAR (similar situation as monk, although a WAR/NIN taru can do some impressive things and shouldn't be underestimated)
