I wonder what equip other drg players use before they get af... compared to other classes, drg choices seem rather slim to me. I´m at lvl 37, and still use lvl 30 and below gear, just because it gives me the bonuses I want: merc. cpt. doublet, battle gloves, bastokian subligar and the like... adding a hairpin, leaping boots. +dex-wise, I´m fine with that, but it looks so... lowly... as far as I have seen, the first real change would be getting brigantine at 45...
what does the rest of the world wear?

well if you are looking for equip that has stats then you have all your goign to get for your lvl. but if not iron scalemail is lvl 37 and a perfect thign for you

At this point (since I can wear similar gear to what Dragoons wear), it's a choice between a few extra points of DEF or stat boosts. I'm sticking with my Merc. Capt. gear for the STR and DEX boosts, personally, as they seem more important to a non-tanking melee than the 10 extra DEF from a full set of Padded Armor/Iron Subligar, etc. I just hate my doublet, personally, because it looks horrible on Elvaan.

As elvaan ono, you probably wanna get as much AGI as u can. Centurion cusses, merc captain gear, get the belt (merc cpt belt).

Balance rings or better... AGI+ earrings...

anything to help accuracy/hit rate. As elvaan you have the highest melee dmg output and highest STR then any other race, but accuracy is crap.

I wore basically what you have until Brigandine at 45. If you can afford it, you can get non-stat armor for farming or helping lower level quests. But basically, for exp party you're stuck with your stat wear.

Steel Scalemail is 48 I think (just for looks). But nothing really until AF (unless you're totally rich and can get the Scorpion wear).

As an elv drg I'm 50 and am still wearing RSE pieces minus the brigidine. Some ppl disagree with it, but honestly I rarely miss mobs. Get sniper rings, life belt, and then dex equip and elv drg's can be quite impressive and net as much melee damage as a hume drk if not more and do it all without hate (thats not including the wyvern)

Your Battle Gloves will go a long way. You will be wearing those all the way up to 56 until you get your AF gauntlets. I am 55 right now and I am wearing Begindine, Drachen Brais, Drachen Grieves, Merc Capt Headgear, Battle Gloves, Drake Ring, +1 Dex ring, 2 wing earrings (AGI +2), and a Life Belt. My rings aren't that good, but they will be replaced with Sniper's Rings once I camp out Stroper Chymes once I hit 56.
