The Elshimo Lowlands are San d'Oria, but the Uplands are under Beastmen control...I'm afraid to try it. ><

Yes! i did, traded "elshi" in bastok when Elshimo lowlands was held by bastok...but uplands were held by beastmen~ I thought it was safe and traded the eggs...but i was turned into an orc instead u_U

Lucky egg is a completely different item that is not invovled in this quest. It is a rare/ex item droped off of Knight Crawlers in Boyada Tree and is used to obtain Opo-Opo Crown.

However, and this is just what I have been told by several people, Lucky egg does give you TH1 for one hour when used/eaten. I'm not so sure on this point.

Here's my testimonial on Lucky Egg.

I was exping off crawlers at boyahda. Got my Lucky egg there. I later joined a friend at Korroloka tunnel camping morion worm. Claimed it a few times and morion tahthlum dropped twice.

During the period waiting for the ??? to respawn, I went around killing spiders. Spider Webs dropped like rain and I threw away about 30 of them because I needed some inventory space for anymore tathlums. It seemed ok to drop them because of it's high drop rate I was experiencing.

I later sold the 10+ webs I have in my inventory at 7K in windurst.

A few days later, I decided to go back for more spider webs. But for an hour of killing, not a single web dropped. Tried again the next day and still, not a single web.

It was then I realize that the rumours behind this Lucky Egg could be true. I should've pulled everyone in my linkshell to come to korroloka and filled their inventory with the spider webs I'm getting that night.

I don't know if this will work again, I never tried to get another lucky egg.

Anywhoo, I got a table and 2 lamps from doing "Gusta" after I got the lamp egg and clock egg.

Also, the first country eggs and the jewel eggs are being sold by moogles in Upper Jeuno across the street from the M&P Market for 10k apiece.

Lost interest in getting the other pieces after finding out that you could end up with 2 of the same piece (might get stuck with 5 of one while I'm still missing another).

EDIT: From Wiki: You get the other pieces by completing the eggs of the other countries.

Locker = Windurst
Stool = Sandoria
Lamp = Any

Since I ended up with 2 lanterns after getting the table, it's possible that you cannot get more than 1 table/locker/stool until you assemble them into the buffet.

Looks like you have to have the national pieces from previous events before you can acquire this year's event items.

So, to get the locker, one must have the Flower egg and Hatchling egg. These are acquired by trading 5 eggs that spell out the first 5 letters of an area under Windurst control. The first time you trade, you'll receive the Flower egg (I'd recommend getting these out of event item storage, if you have gotten them before and stored them). The second time you trade, you'll get the Hatchling egg (if you didn't get it last year). Trade a final set of 5 that spell a Windy controlled area, and you'll receive the locker.

The same process goes for Bastok:
Trade 5 letters spelling a Bastok controlled area. First time>>Lamp egg. Second time>>Clockwork egg. Third time>>Egg Table

And San d'Oria:
Trade 5 letters spelling a Sandy controlled area. First time>>Wing egg. Second time>>Melodious Egg. Third time>Egg Stool.

I suppose the Lantern is the final piece to acquire and is received by trading another 5 letters spelling out any area under Windurst, San d'Oria, or Bastok control.

Trading the Locker, Table, Stool, and Lantern to your mog house moogle yadda yadda yadda...

Yep, I got the Egg Buffet last night. It's cool.
I got my Flower Egg, Wing Egg, and Lamp Egg out of event storage. Then, I had to get last year's event items (since I failed to do the event last year... Ugh, I can't believe I missed out on the cuteness). Then, I got this years items. So... 7 Egg sets later, I have an awesome, new piece of furniture.

Has anyone had any success in obtaining the Jeuno 'Jeweled Egg' in the event yet. I have seen pictures of it, but no one has posted how they obtained it. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Just buy it for 10k from the moogle in Upper Jeuno.

Yeah, you can buy the Jeweled Egg in Upper Jeuno near the M&P for 10k, or you can trade a moogle the letters spelling days of the week (you must have the first 3 eggs--wing, lamp, flower--in your inventory, I believe): dark, light, wind, etc.
