what kind of damage output would a mnk/thf do if sneak/trick/asuran fist was performed?

Probably not a noticeable amount more than just plain asuran fist. Sneak attack and trick attack only work for the very first hit out of the 8 from asuran fist.

I seem to recall that at some point in the distant past, SE intentionally nerfed the Sneak Attack trait when used as a support job. My criticals from using Sneak Attack are pathetic at best unless I'm actually Thiefing. And Enoki is correct, Sneak Attack (must resist urge to call it Fuiuchi) only affects the first blow, effectively nerfing it for Monks since it doesn't even count for both of our attack blows.

the good news is that trick attack will still work and you can put the obscene hate onto the tank.

Trick and Sneak would only work on the first hit, I believe.
It would be better to do it with something like BackhandBlow, or something that criticals.

I am about to start levelling Thief again, so I will grab my San d'Orian Cesti and try it out.

trick works on multihit WS, why else would drk sub thf for guillotine if it only worked on the first

it only increases the damage on the first hit, but all the hate caused by the damage of the WS is tricked

Asuran Fists + Trick Attack + Sneak Attack is very good aggro control in alot of HNM fights. It -will- do obscene damage, because although Sneak only stacks on the first hit, Trick applies to all of them, I believe.

Based on the fact that a Thief can Trick Attack with Dancing Edge and the aggro will go where it's supposed to go (namely, not onto the Thief), I'd say that Trick Attack + WS is all inclusive. Sneak Attack, though, seems to be a one hit deal.

keep in mind a mnk/thf can end a Light element SC with Dragon Kick, a one hit WS. Useing sneak and trick on that would probably be more usefull.

Indeed. I'll just execute a Dragon Kick from now on, seeing as how I'm level 36. :-P
You're right, though, which is why Thief is an encouraged sub for Monks, along with Warrior and Samurai. Trouble is that Thief and Samurai only become particularly helpful after 60.
