Okay, newbie question here, sorry. How long is the starting +1 str belt worthwhile to use? And what should it be replaced with?

i used it for quite a while but id probably swap it out at lvl 18 for a Purple Belt..costs around 12k on Siren but the +3 Str is worth it.

Only 12k on Siren? It has been consistently 20k on Asura. I spent a little time saving up for it, but it was worth it.

White Belt will tide you over until you can afford a Purple Belt, but if you end up in a position where you seem to be tanking/taking a lot of hits (not unknown in Valkrum ), having a Warrior's Belt with you isn't a bad idea. At least... I'm pretty sure that a Monk can wear that. Meh... mind like a sieve...

Hmmm yeah sels for 8k @ jeuno tho........damn it >.<

got my Brown Belt the other day 350k @ jeuno figured it to be cheaper than doing all the fame quests for the Tenshendo.

And Brown Belt is 200k in Jeuno on Asura right now.

One thing I've found about Asura is that the prices of low level stuff (>30) seems to be generally high compared to other servers, but higher level gear seems to be generally low. I suspect that it's because all the newbies haven't started creating demand yet, which is why I'm doing my best to get all my level 40 gear ASAP.
