Simple: it's a reskin of the Myochin/Saotome armor. If they wanted to make it a full five-piece set, ignoring that they'd have to add a fourth path to the ZNM model to accommodate it, they'd be hard-pressed to find a substitute for the Samurai kabuto model that would fit with the armor. Ares' Mask and Marduk's Tiara rather poorly side-step the issue of otherwise having to use a reskinned Chaos Burgeonet and Magus Keffiyeh, but I think SE wanted to avoid having to make another lame Hachiman Jinpachi kind of decision since that's the only thing that otherwise remotely matches with the domaru style of armor.

When /THF you probably want to have a little more attack, since you will be fighting stuff like Kirin/Dark ixion etc where attack actually benefits Gekko. Really what WS setup you use should depend on what you're fighting, not what SJ you are using. Otherwise you're looking good. (If you do einherjar grab an Iota ring until you get a 7 acc ring, especially for Penta)

I forgot to note that I took these prior to properly adjusting all of my macros. I actually use Forager's over Smilodon +1 in my STR setup, as the 15 attack is preferable over an extra 2 STR.

In a lot of situations, Smilodon +1 will be better than Forager's. Mainly lower tier stuff like Limbus/Merits/City Dynamis (But then again in these you should be using Polearm)

First time posting in the Sam forums I think, Sam is my most recent job at 75. A few months old I think. The last few days have been really productive so I thought I'd post some screenshots.

Got my rutters 2 days ago (was using Askar previously because of no drops), Ace's yesterday along with us going 5/5 Torques on JoJ (still can't believe that luck), and today my friend and I brought some people up to sky to pop our 2 byakkos and now I have kitty pants(used Usukane previously). So been a really good week for me. Really enjoy Samurai a lot. Need to pick up a Tomoe at some point and finish Usu Feet and I think I'm pretty set. Earring is Bushi and bracelets are Alkys. I should probably pick up a +1 hat as we never do SCNMs or just finish Maats! Not as cute as Buttons, but pretty fierce!

You know what to gear for, not much I can say that you don't already know. You could get a smilo+1 for gekko. But that's all I can say for the 3 gear sets you posted.

Ya I had wanted to get a Smilo +1 but at this point I think I'm more concerned about the inventory space. :X
