Equipping Pole grip gives you a 1.3% increase in tp/ws, however sword strap gives you 3.09% increase. Long as the sword strap doesn't affect your 6-hit or fake 6-hit, sword strap > pole grip.

Full-turtle physical reduction is something that's saved my life numerous times thus far (in which case I'd never down-grade from it ever again), but nonetheless, even if I'm hit twice at times, I'm just barely able to hold my six-hit with thirteen Store TP during the TP phase (six on WS). Pretty much 100% TP right on the dot a majority of the time.

Aside from that though, I fully understand that Sword Strap >>> Pole Grip (and DA frequency on WS isn't what you should be looking at when you compare the grips really <_> lol), but if it's costing you your six-hit a majority of the time, it's like Hachiman Kote vs Dusk Gloves all over again (for Fuma Sune-ate users, no Usukane available).

I've got 1% less on physical reduction set.

I'm definatly gonna roll with sword strap for a while, and see how it pans out, should be better than pole grip though. It definatly looks like it is on paper.

I sold my Dusk Feet +1 to fund Usu body a bit ago, but the moment I find a decently priced pair I'm all over (pole strap + usu haramaki + dusk feet +1) again. That's probably going to be for /war for the time being...until eventually i get v.belt/dusk gloves +1 for /drg.

Fumas work just as fine, but 6 years into this game I feel like its time to +1 SAM .

Spend it on something that you will actually notice a difference between your current piece and what you buy. Don't be a noob.

Plus, getting movement speed down intentionally when you have another, just as good piece without the speed-% is not too smart...

I wouldn't call a WAR an idiot or a noob for using Dusk gear, simply because there are no other 3% haste that are active 100% of the time for WAR. However on SAM you have Fuma Sune-Ate which are the same haste and no movement speed -%... and you don't need to drop a few mil for HQWHITEBOXLULZ SAM. If you said your buying them for your WAR, then sure, they are a good investment... but you said they were for SAM, mainly. That's why I thought you were a noob D:

Iono Kon. I'd love Usu feet for my SAM and Marduk pants for my Bard but I just have no time atm. It's either study study study or dyna and limbus all the time. I can hardly play for fun anymore.
Been trying to rank up in campaign for that stupid rose strap but I've lost and regained the same rank 3 times now since I just don't have enough time to play. ;___; I liked SAM more before ACP body when Hachiman Kote+Fumas was perfectly acceptable before Usu feet. But now people expect you to use ACP body or Rose Strap with dusk gloves. ACP last battle is a bitch and campaign ranks suck for those that are behind. Would take me a month of consistant rank ups to get the rank for it, am still Steelknight Emblem only an d just lost it again today.
