Does anyone know of a good link or map of our AF3 encounter? Also, any info about the monster would be greatly appreciated.

Top-right map, where the path from point H opens up is where the fight happens. It's right at the top of the stairs. This is the area you would go to hunt for coffer keys/coffers, and also where you have to go to get the genkai 3 portion of Castle Oztroja finished.

Fought at lv 60 with 14 other people, a few lv65+, but most were 58-60. Had two healers at 56, and even a drk at 52 along just to add whatever damage we could. Since it's a monk mob, he has a tremendous amount of health. Had a 67DRK along, and he was pulling hate from the PLD constantly. Just make sure you have at least 15 people I would say, and try to get as many lv58+ as possible. BLM would be favorable if you can get a few to come along, as they should speed up the process. Just be ready to heal a lot of HP when he starts using his two hour. ^^
